My doctor has just switched me from oxycodone HLC five MG tablets to Norco which also contains acetaminophen. I have been taking Tylenol with the oxycodone and I understand I should stop that medicine prior to taking the Norco. Is the Norco a milder medication and the oxycodone? The color, shape, and imprint are what make each tablet unique and identifiable amongst all the other pills on the market. So you wouldn't be fooling anyone with a brain if they know what the imprint should be. For that reason alone, it's probably best to just be upfront and honest with your doctor and ask for a higher dose or larger quantity of pills if your current prescription doesn't suit your tolerance. I got a red n blue capspule that had no imprints or any other markings that is said to be a oxycodone 30 is this real?? I never have seen one this color that was a oxy so im kinda scared to take untill i make sure its real. ## Among the manufactured U.S. prescription drugs, there is only a 5mg Oxycodone capsule available and they all have markings. I.have been on opiate alot of different kinds. I found perkacet to be the best for me cuz I only need 1 sometimes two. I have arthritis pretty bad. So does anyone know the difference between perkadan or perkacet. And how much oxycodone are in them? ## Hello, Sally! How are you? I take 7.5-325 Oxycodon and always get it from the Watson Co., well my pharmacy is out of them, and with it being Thanksgiving tomorrow, some pharmacies are closed. I get my 'script on the 28th and found a pharmacy that finally had the amount my script calls for but they are made by Mylan. My question is, "Is Mylan a good company?" Better/Same or worse then Watson? I know there use to be one company that supposely wasn't good but can't spell the name of it... think it started with, "Meck"....something. ok so i have been successfully doing a suboxen program for 2 years now. i am only on 4mg now and i guess this month i messed up..... ok i did!! i took 8mg a day and i thought i could buy some extra from someone else to catch up..well i cant she got cut off at dr. they are hard to come by so i was thinking about getting some roxies for the next week or so just to keep me from wds... ok so my question is.. does anyone think that if i take abt 30-50 mg oxycodone for a week then go back to my subs for a week if they happen to test me i would be ok??? i did cheat once b4 at the same dr.. i was being prescribed oxys and i took some hydros too and 4 days later it showed up... im 27 150 llbs i have been on suboxen for 2 yrs and i was on opiates for 8 yrs strait b4 that... he does a 10 or 12 pan...

Maybe the drugs together are showing up that way? I think you should be fine as long as you can produce your medical and prescription records to show that you were issued those medications during your hospital visit. ## I don't think it has to do with the combination. Oxycodone is processed and chemically changed into oxymorphone in the liver.

I have been prescibed oxycodone for pain from 3 surgeries. I have worked for my company for almost 7 years. ive had 6 shoulder replacements and given 15 mgs. of oxycodone for 10 months.could this cause liver damage /? you so much !! ## I've had to take Oxy 30 mg 5x's a day for the last nine years and I have my liver, kidney functions checked twice a year, and they are fine. I've been on pain management prior to the Oxy for many years and was on hydros and it started to eat my stomach lining, they changed me over to Oxy when I started throwing up blood. What the different of oxycodone Kvk-tech and The oxycodone mallinkrdt ## What is the difference between oxycodone w/apap 5/325 (mck) and oxycodone hcl 5 mg tablet kvk? ## The only difference is that they have been manufactured by different companies. The MCK or Mallinkrdt denotes the manufacturer as being Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals and the KVK is for KVK Tech. Once a medication is available as a generic, it is usually made by several different companies, so this is completely normal. Is there anything else I can help with?

Most patients who are prescribed Oxycodone (or any opiate) have already been identified as needing them by a physician. So. please spare us your diagnosis and talk about the main point you want to make, which is probably difficulty in finding a pharmacy that 1) has them 2) is willing to dispense them and 3) doesn't charge a fortune. You only need to discuss the challenges encountered in filling the scripts, not how you "deserve" to take the medication. Unless they know you personally, nobody honestly cares about why you take opiates or that you have a handicapped tag. I am in Huntington Beach CA and this situation is out of control regarding filling prescriptions for oxycodone or any other pain pills for that matter. Do authorities not realize that the people IN PAIN simply cannot drive around 'pharmacy shopping' because they are in pain. So the people getting the pain meds are the ones generally that are not in so much pain or are in fact the ones that then turn around and sell them on the street. duh?!
