My doctor had me on hydrocodone 10/650 for about 5 years now for my fibromyalgia and its just not working for me any longer - he switched mea to oxycodone \ acetaminophen 10/650 - is this a stronger medicine and do you think that It would help me better as far as pain ?.... What is the maximum/day my pcp can prescribe long term opiates without going to pain management. Specialists are expensive for me but not the medication. Im currently only getting 5 5mg oxycodone from pain management because old pcp wont mess with it. Thnks for help. We are all different, so someone else may not be able to take the Lorcet, but the Percocet may work great for them. The most likely reason your doctor changed your prescription is because there is a shortage right now and the combination medications with higher amounts of Acetaminophen in them will no longer be available after the new year. I took a drug screen for my PM dr & to my surprise it shows up differently for OxyContin and oxycodone 10mg 325 (Percocet) The nurse told me oxycotin came back as oxycodone & the oxycodone/Percocet came back as an opioid! I've always thought it was the same medication! Well needless to say I got discharged for taking 1 Percocet! ????

someone gave me some big white capsules that has no numbers on them just two small black strips on each side of the pill it has powder in it and someone told me that it was either oxycodone or oxycontine 80mg has anyone ever seen these pills in that form? ## They aren't manufactured U.S. prescription medications, those are all required to have imprints to enable their identification. The only way you get Oxycodone like this in the U.S. would be if it was made by a compounding pharmacy, which makes no sense, because that dosage is available, so a doctor wouldn't have to order it that way. Hello. Recently my urine test was negative for oxycodone that I have been taking for months for pain after car accident. My doctor released me and now I am flagged. What can I do about this? Why was my test negative? I took the oxy every day so I don't understand why it didn't show in the urine. The lab swears it did a quantitative test.

I have 3 levels of herniated Lower Lumbar discsw which need replacing with prodisc but my insurance doesn't cover it. I was on Morphine for almost a decade and I am in constant pain. I have legitimate pain and my medical condition is bad. I ran out of my rx early and so went againt my better judgement and obtained medication from a source that I DONT TRUST. They have blurred my vision and made me sleepy. I know they are not percocet 15s even though the imprint says so. I'm on oxycodone 10-325mg every 8 hours. I'm having my 4th cervical/thoracic surgery in less than two years, next week and it will be changed to every 4 hrs. I will run out before my time to get it filled. What should I do? ## Hi Roni! If your Dr. Changes your dose 2 take more medication, then, they will realize u r going 2 run out earlier. Please tell me if there is an EXACT replacement for the Watson 392 generic for Percocet. I know Watson has purchased Actavis. I have been taking the Watson 392 for years and the substitute does not help me at all. I take in combination with Fentanyl. Are there other companies that make the "Watson 392" configuration under a different number and name??? I have contacted Actavis several times to see if they have an exact replacement and they have not replied to any of my e-mail. Cheaper by prescription. ## @da, Based on my research, a quantity of 30 oxycodone 5mg pills from the pharmacy may cost an 'estimated' $20 (cash out-of-pocket) without the presence of insurance or savings cards. However, discount cards tend to make these tablets a lot cheaper when you go the legal route; often times cutting the cost in half. So that may be something to factor into consideration if you are getting them from a retail pharmacy. You might even want to call them up first just to verify the total before moving forward. I saw a pain doc recently and he put me on oxycodone 5 mg. It doesn't work well and I took some tramadol from an old script.
