i have a small white round pill marked eith a ten on one side and the other side is scored with a single line in the middle. is this oxy? ## also i have a large white round pill marked on one side with an A over 349, and blank on the other side. what could this one be? ## Hello, Dana! How are you? The tablet with the A 349 on it is manufactured by Actavis Elizabeth and they list it as containing 5mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. The other one is harder, there are several possibilities, but there are no narcotics with that marking. I'll keep looking and post back, when I have...

I found some pills in my medicine cabinet and they look like oxycodone 5mg, as I have been prescribed them in the past. The only issue I have is that I could not locate them on the internet. They are small white round pills, blank on one side and on the other is a capital "A" and a 5 separated by a score line. Any ideas? ## Hello, Elton! How are you? From what I've been able to find, this is an old Actavis tablet that they listed as containing 5mgs of Oxycodone in a regular release formulation. The FDA classifies this as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. The reason they cannot be found online is due to the fact that they no longer make these. Is ther...

I work full time and have a torn meniscus in my knee. The pain is horrible. I have evaluations tomorrow so I can have surgery ASAP. I took a few oxycodone at night for pain so I could sleep. None while working. I got overheated yesterday and had to get out of sun for ten minutes. Could the medicine have caused this? ## Hello, Sarah! How are you feeling? Yes, most medications can cause sensitivity to the sun and heat. It's best to always be cautious by wearing sun block and making sure to stay hydrated. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Well took a couple and feel nauseous more then anything ## Hello, Lance! How are you feeling? Sorry about the nausea. This tablet is manufactured by Nesher Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 20mgs of Oxycodone in a regular release formulation. Nausea, can be a normal side effect of opiates, as listed by the FDA. You may also experience dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth, headache and constipation. They also carry the risk of being habit forming. Are there any other questions or concerns?

I have been taking oxycodone 512 And my Pharmacy now gives me. a 349 Oxycodone but it fells like there not as strong . ## They are both 5/325mg doses, as listed in the databases by the FDA, just manufactured by different companies, since this is a generic. However, there can be slight fluctuations from one generic to the other, so this one could be slightly lower. Since the differences are usually very slight, your body will usually adjust in a week, or so. If not, then you should consult your doctor. I have melanoma cancer and a horrific case of shingles. I have been prescribed oxycodone 10/325 1 every four hours. In addition I am treated at the spine and pain center for spinal stenous and osteoporosis. I need to try same dosage every three hours to control my pain because I really struggle that fourth hour with lots of pain. Would that cause a problem? I am male in my middle 70's. ## It would be best not to adjust your dosage, without your doctor's approval. It could create the risk of overdose and/or you may run out early, which may make your doctor think you have an addiction problem, so they might stop prescribing. I have used oxycodone for years, rsd, and started the brand again several years ago during shortage. they worked so well I was able to drop from 240 to 180 in two months. Xanodyne 30mg. They sold to Mallencroft and are very expensive now. I tried a generic- Activis recommended by pharmacy. Not only did they NOT WORK they gave me severe anxiety - the same feeling I got when they tried to give me anti depressants for pain. Horrifying side effects- I was extremely anxious, had paranoia and negative thoughts, afraid to be alone. The pharmacy replaced with the brand but it took five days to get back to baseline with pain and psyche. I am terrified now of the generic but the brand are over 1,000 a month, half w/insurance. In the past I have been given all sorts of drugs to try for chronic pai...

I haven't come across any official announcements on the internet just yet, but wonder if that's because it hasn't actually come out yet? My Oxycodone 30 mg blue pills got wet, they dried out & now are twice the size they should be & no writing is on them. My question is of they are still as effective as before they got wet? ## as long as it was water, you are fine. There might be a shorter time release bc the membrane might be worn or more porous. ## They also may not be effective, if the water started causing some of the Oxycodone to be released. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. In the future, it is always best to store your pills away from liquid sources to prevent this from occurring. They should be stored in a cool, dark, dry location. Is there a...

Hello there. I have been prescribed oxycodone as well as Opana for many years now due to a genetic bone disease. Osteogenesis Imperfecta. I've recently moved to North Myrtle Beach SC. These meds are the only ones that have ever given me any relief. I have been to many pain management clinics with no success in the past. I am simply trying to find a local doctor that understands my condition and can simply write what I need. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hello fellow pain med users! I'd like to clear up any confusion. The yellow orange-ish pill with the imprinted V on one side and 4829 on the other is in fact oxycodone hydrochloride / acetaminophen 10/325. This means 10 mgs of oxycodone hydrochloride and 325 mg of acetaminophen. These are generic forms of percocet, roxicet. So yes, this is a perk 10, as people call it. The V everyone sees is actually an "N" standing for the brand name of certain medications "narcco" narcco is a company that manufactures pain medication and sells them at a generic price, thus reducing the cost of these prescription medication. Generic pills, such as this pill, have to have at least 99.9 percent of the makeup of the ungeneric brand ie. Roxicet. So you are getting the exact same thing, ...

My husband broke his back years ago and takes percocet for pain. He has ran out of his current script and can't see a new doctor till next week, and we are unsure they'll even prescribe his regular meds. Does anyone know of a decent doctor in Portland who prescribes percs? He suffers tremendously and we are new to Portland. We're from Washington. Thanks. God bless
