I just picked up my prescription from a mom n pop pharmacy. Seems like every other month they have a different manufacturer. Trust me I know - they buy the cheapest brand lot available at the time. But these new ones I just got are horrible. They're produced by Lupin Pharmaceuticals. They are blue in color and HARD as a rock!!! When I visit the website they keep comparing themselves to Mallinckrodt. I used to get Mallinckrodt before I switched to the new pharmacy and they were by far the best. But just be aware these new ones by Lupin SUCK so check your pills before you leave the window and request different ones. You'll thank me later. ## Interesting. Thanks. I am on ocxycodone for pain. I am out but hav an old script for tramadol. How many 50mg tramadol would I have to take for it to balance out to one 10 mg oxycodone? ## Tramadol is much more powerful than many physicians claim it is. Get it filled. It will replace the narcotic effects of the other opiate & common dose is 2tabs at 50mg each. I have just been told by my pharmacy that they will no longer fill my 30 mg oxycodone prescription. I have been prescribed 150 per month, for a few years, Now they (walgreens in North Palm beach) say they will only fill a prescription for 120 maximum per month. I am unsure of what to do? mc ## You're going to get the same response, regardless of what pharmacy you use. 120 a month of any given dosage is the maximum amount that is allowed to be prescribed each month. Many pharmacies got in trouble for not enforcing the limits, so they no longer have a choice in the matter, they can't fill for any amount higher than 120 a month. Is it possibly A333 on a white, capsule shaped tablet? If so, it contains 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, it's a generic for Percocet (NDC 0228-2983). I've been on oxycodone 15mgs 4 times a day for about 4 months due to a pancreatic pseudocyst and multiple surgeries. My health has dramatically gotten better but I still suffer from scar tissue damage from all the surgeries and E.R.C.P's. I feel that i wont be needing the pain medicine any longer? So my question is what is the best method to stop the oxycodone without the terrible withdrawal? And are Benzodiazepines a good choice? If so, which ones work most effectively and how should i dose them? Plz help, because just the thought of stopping the oxycodone causes major anxiety and panic attacks. I am a breast cancer survivor/along with with DDD, HDD and showing signs of fibromalgia-I had the lattisumus dorsa breast reconsturciton and have ongoing back/neck/hip pain that prevents me from having any kind of productive life--Except if I am on my pain mediction- I know the the difference and I am not addicted but YES I am dependent. My pharm just switched to the Rhodes 10/325 and I might as well be taking aspirin, except it makes me itch so bad and causes headaches and the sweats. I love the quailtest or the endo. I am calling my pharm in the morning to complain and see if they will be getting something else in. If not I'll be calling local pharms to find something else. I hate these. ## I agree 100 percent. I fill 120 10-325 oxycodone every two weeks for two years and qualitest is the brand that works best for me. My cvs changed it to Rhodes a month or so ago and it was a waste of my script. I normally take 2 Oxycod/apap = Percocet up to 6 a day. I have an oxycodone 30 tablet. It was in my pocket and went through the washer. Somehow it is still kind of together. Will it hurt me to take it? ## It wouldnt be recommended, because there is a good chance that it has absorbed some of the chemicals used in the wash cycle, such as the products in the laundry detergent and/or fabric softener.
