I was terminated from my employer because I tested positive for oxymorphone & not oxycodone, which I had prescription for percocet 10m. Does anyone know the ratio to figure this out & should I persue legal action against my former employer? Please help!!! I would talk to a lawyer ## Well your sorta screwed because if no oxycodone was detected it means you were taking opana and not your oxycodone. If u had been just taking your percs you would be positive for both. Oxymorphone is a byproduct of the metabolism of oxycodone but not in the reverse.

If it's in a bottle as dispensed by your pharmacy, then it expired and began to degrade one year after it was dispensed to you, due to the fact that those bottles expose them to heat, light and moisture. Thus, it would be best to dispose of it and see your doctor, if you require something for pain. 5397 ## Hydracodone was prescribed for me after urterine and hernia surgeries almost two years ago. I'm now taking 5 mg. every 8 hrs. I stopped taking this medication for almost three days and experienced an overhelming feeling of gloom and doom, which was more than I could handle and, therefore, I took a pill on the third day. Is this feeling a withdrawal side effect? ## I have been on Oxycodone and Oxycocet for roughly 6 years, the last 3 & 1/2 I have been taking between 240-300 of the Oxycocet a month. Please does anyone know what medication was in those tablets....they where in Teva Pharmaceutical package that said 80mg oxycodone hydrochloride extended had REV:A 2/2004 and L21185......so Teva Pharmaceutical knows the package they must have some idea what the true medication was in the blister packs that those stickers where glued to.......... ## An orangish/reddish tablet with 93 on one side and 225 on the opposite is listed by Teva as containing 0.5mgs of Risperidone. The FDA classifies it as an atypical antipsychotic that is used to treat various mental health disorders. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, sedation, somnolence and weight gain. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have curvature in my back and arthritis in my back and the only relief I have is oxycodone, I want to get off this but do not know what to try. Would Meloxicam or Tramadol be a good substitute? Please tell me of anything else I can try. Alleve or Tylenol does not do much and I'm in constant pain without Oxy. ## Hello, Demi! How are you? Neither of those medications are as strong as Oxycodone, plus the Tramadol is also a type of opiate that carries the same risk of being habit forming. It can also cause very similar side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. Why do you want to stop taking the Oxycodone? How long have you been on it and what dose do you take?

Is there apap in my oxycodone 5mg kvk hcl tab? Because people are saying there is apap in it. ## Hello, Lang! How are you? What are the markings on it? From what you've listed, it doesn't look like there's any APAP/Acetaminophen in it, if there were, a second dosage should be listed, so the label would have something like 5/325mg on it. However, if you can post back with the markings on it, I'll gladly double check for you to be sure. I used to request Watson brand esp with soma. I had my script filled and the brand dispensed was Actavis and I think it's weak. I am not a fan and trust me, I'm an expert on the good and bad brands. This is supposed to be the company that bought Watson which is a drag BC I can't find my soma's anymore unless Walgreens carries them. Actavis is a weak, short acting pain pill. My suggestion is to ask what brands they offer and avoid this one. At least for me, if you have a high tolerance, this is to be avoided. If you can't avoid it, then sucks for you. I never had a problem going to any pharmacy and getting my prescription filled. Now CVS Drug chain states they can't fill it because "They are at their threshold"? What?? Smiths Food and Drug Pharmacies who I could always count on are always out stating "We've gone through our monthly allotment" What?? Does anyone know what morphine withdrawals are like? I received some pills that are suppose to be 10mg Percocet but the imprints is an odd uppercase E & 12 on them. Are these really percs ??? I have a drug blood test tomorrow for 30mg Oxycodone and have ran out, can I take some Percocet I have to replace it? If I took two 10 mg Percocet and a squirt of 30 ml OxyContin (equal to a 30 mg pill) on Tuesday will I be clean by Friday night? When you take a hair folical drug test do specific drugs show up like if I was taking two different opiate based drugs or would it just show up as opiates in your hair.....just asking cause I have a script for oxycodone 5mg but I took a percocet 30mg. My job only does random hair folical. Are they gonna be able to tell?? ## Yes, precise tests can be done to show exactly what someone was taking. And there is no 30mg Percocet, this medication contains Acetaminophen and Oxycodone and is only available with a maximum of 10mgs of the Oxycodone. And, even if that is what you took, then since it also contains Oxycodone, there shouldn't be any problem, since that it what you a prescription for. I am caring for my father, who has a pacemaker plus defibrillator, and is on several heart medications plus a blood thinner. He is not on any medicine for lowering blood pressure because of an allergic reaction, but it does not seem to be a problem when he gets checked at the doctors office. He is still driving, moves around the house, goes to visit friends, and checks his email. However, over the last 3+years he has gradually diminished walking due to weakness he experiences when taking about 15 steps that increases as he steps. My son's wife is claiming her doctor told her she has lupus. I say claimed because she is a compulsive liar and we have not seen any of lupus or that he has even said this. She has a prescription a doctor is giving her of 150 Oxycodone a month that she uses up in 2 weeks. This is a huge concern of mine because the children are being neglected while my son is at work. She is so drugged up, the 1 and 2 year old are left gated in her bedroom while shes passed out from the drugs. Also, her pysch is gone. Shes irrational, turned very mean and abusive. I was prescribed 10 mg oxycodone hydrochloride. I ran out 5 days before i was supposed to get my new script. I had a 30 mg blue oxycodone hydrochloride that I cut in half so I didn't take too much at once. I started using Cvs. this past year since it's a preferred pharmacy through my insurance. At some point they said they could no longer fill my script for oxycodone; no explanation offered. I've been taking oxycodone at the same dose for four years after exhausting every means-physical therapy, trigger point injections, outpatient procedures, homeopathy, meditation, prayer (I still pray & meditate daily.) When I mentioned this to my pain management dr, he told me that in.2014, a huge quantity of. Narcotics went missing from CVS & has never been accounted for. This occurred both the New Castle Pa CVS as well as one in Florida. Again, because this community is plagued with drug addicts and criminals, those of us with legitimate health problems are paying the price.

I need to find a pharmacy in San Diego that will fill 30 milligram oxycodone ## Almost every pharmacy will fill it. Also depends on which dr wrote the rx, but I've filled at almost every pharmacy in San Diego with many many people who had rxs for 180-360 30mg oxy every month. Cvs is the worst, Walgreens sucks...I'd say right now haggan/Sav on js the best. ## My Dr. here in San Diego just retired and I need to find a new one.
