I was prescribed 4x20 mg oxycodone hci cr per day and never took them, as was afraid to, as afraid of the side effects. But I am supposed to take them in order to continue getting my disability income. So after I got pee tested by a new doctor last month, and had not got the results, but I see her tomorrow (which is 33 days after my last time I saw her), and my prescrips are supposed to be every 30 days. I am afraid she will cut me off my meds as the last pee test will not show it, although I did tell her at that appointment, I was in transit on holidays and lost my toiletry bag so had not had any pills to take for 10 days. Just looked up what a person close to me was taking, who happens to be in rehab/jail..........again bc of this s***. What a shame. ## I am only just now seeing your post. I remember not having my oxy and had to go through withdrawl and I took cold medicine but sinus meds, Benadryl ,nothing acted or even mimicked those strong opiates ## Yes, there is nothing available that you can use to create Oxycodone in your home, I'm sorry. Doing so requires a full lab, with trained personnel, usually both in fields of science and medicine. I think i took a white oblong capsule i was told it was outdone instant relief 5mg. I can't remember the exact numbers on them. I know it started with a 0 and had the number 4 in it. I have taken oxycodone before but never seen it in a capsuse before can u please tell me if it was actually oxycodone ## There's definitely not a medication by the name of "outdone", at least here in the U.S. It sounds like they could've also said Oxycontin, which is an extended release version of Oxycodone. But just to confirm, there are in fact Oxycodone (immediate release) capsules. I've seen a 5mg capsule from Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals. I live in MN. I am prescribed oxycodone 5/325 6 tabs day & Oxycontin 15mg 3 x day. My husband has severe pain also and will not go to the Dr so I ended up short this month. My PCP gave me Oxycodone 10 mg 3 a day. I am supposed to be counted & since i couldn't provide my meds they did a urine test. I am also on 10 mg of valium for my muscle spasms which 1 hour before my test I took 2 tabs of that and 2 tabs of the 10mg oxycodone. No tyl at all in my system. I know i have a messed up system due to thyroid issues, & dehydration so I am also afraid that it is going to show higher than normal levels. I know I am throwing a lot out here, and not sure what I am asking, but I am afraid that she (at the pain clinic) will now pull the state report showing I received another script...

I need to know about this medicine. I have been taking Oxycodone-APAP 7.5/325 mg (Mallin). Last month the pharmacy changed my brand to Endocet 7.5/325. Does not work as well. Still have pain with the same doseage. I only take 2 a day. Now this month I recieved from the same parmacy 7.5/325 Oxycodon-Acetaminopen (Alvoge). Now I think it has caused me to have heart palpatations and some breathing difficulty. I also caused me to have a headache. My head feels thick in the back. Now all these meds are supposed to be the same but I beg to differ with them. I really dont like taking them but I want something to take the pain away not kill me. I stil have pain with all this. I have had several pain intensive surgeries followed by Dr. prescrptions of Vicodin & Percocet on various occasions in the past. Each time I would have surplus meds (with dispose of dates listed on container) leftover after pain subsided. My question is do these meds have a shelf life where they become ineffective or worse, toxic? ## No, these types of medications do not become toxic, but they will start to lose effectiveness past the expiration date. There's no precise time frame to give, because it depends on storage conditions, but the one year date from the pharmacy is the maximum time they can be sure they'll remain fully effective. My pharmacy has swicthed to these from the small blue ones ,they still work on my back and hip pain but seem to set of migrain symptoms.there so much bigger I'm wondering what the filler is. I took oxycontin and oxycodone for 6 years... stopped cold turkey, cause i lost my job and insurance..........first month sucked real bad, but now i am ok. By all means, if you are in serious pain, take a narcotic! Nothing else even comes close to the results of a narcotic pain reliever. DO NOT!... I REPEAT.....DO NOT listen to all the hype and yackety yack every little dip wad spouts off about the big bad opiates. After 6 years of use.... of around 120 - 150 mgs per day, I have definitely learned that narcotic painkillers are much safer and easier on your stomach lining than Tylenol, motrin, aspirin, aleve, and all the others! FACT!... So when someone used to tell me, i just take tylenol for my pain, because they feel its not as strong BUT MUCH, MUCH safer.... I would remember my docto...

I took about 105mg of oxycodone for 9 days after being taken off another opiate for a disease causing severe pain. How long will it take to completely leave my body so I will be clean and able to go back on my original meds? After reading here I'm very concerned and won't ever do that type of thing again. Hi. So I'm wondering how these 5 panel urine cup tests react in comparison to the Lab test they get sent to after. If I took two 30mg Oxycodone (Roxy's) on Thursday and took the 5 panel urine test on the following Wednesday... I'm sure the cup would say negative but would the results from when the Lab takes the Urine after come up positive???
