Day 3 and the devil is still just sitting on my shoulder....I can't beleive how well I am actually feeling...Am I kidding myself, or could the worst still come? I was on tylox 5/500 4 times per day for years due to a motorcycle accident with a scorpion back break. I have had 2 surgeries and now lots of scar tissue and severe arthritis in my lower back with severe chronic pain. When they removed tylox with acetaminophen my dr. prescribed percocet 5/325 in jan 2014. Since that time i itched like crazy. Dr. sent me to dermatologist who sent a report that it was lasix coming out of my body but dr. said that was not what was causing itching, but never told me what was causing it. Now pharmacist says the fillers and binding agents cause allergic reactions that are making lots of people itch. My question is this, I was having a very difficult time filling my legitimate 30mg oxycodone qty(120) prescription, I had an old prescription from my old pm dr. that was for 10mg oxycodone qty (98). I showed it to the pharmacist he told me it was no problem to fill, and that the only issue would be that insurance would not cover both. After looking everywhere I decided to go ahead and fill the 10"s and pay cash. A week later the 30's were finally in stock so I was actually told over the phone, got to pharmacy and low and behold they only had 5 left, there were 2 other medications to fill on the same prescription, Norco's and Soma's, they said they could fill those and I would have to wait on the oxy's. Pain clinic Dr. saw me after I self detoxed from a ten-year chronic pain situation that had elevated oxycodone daily use to 8...30 mg tablets at another pain clinic. I had been diagnosed with OIH (opioid induced hyperalgesia) two months prior and opioids only caused more pain. My opioid use has always been solely for pain and had never been abused in any way. I detoxed with hopes of lower drug usage. This Dr. after his 8 hr deal to prescribe suboxone (knows nil about this complicated drug). Anyway he put me on 16 mg. I asked for subutex he complied. Are these the same things as oxycodone ## No, this is an over the counter product. It's manufactured by Geri-Care and they list it as containing 325mgs of Acetaminophen, it's a generic or store brand of Tylenol. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness and headache. Is there anything else I can help with?

My Dr. wrote me a script on the script it says oxyCODONE (ROXICODONE) 15 MG immediate release tablets. the tablets are small and light green with the funny looking v on 1 side and 48 11 on the other side is this the imm rel.? I have been getting prescribed oxycodone 5-325 since my back surgery on November 12th 2015. I have an appointment tomorrow with my pcp to have them take over prescribing my pain meds. If I take one pill now will it be in my urine tomorrow if they decide to do a urine test? My appointment is at 6:40 pm tomorrow. I just want to make sure it will still be in my system if I take one today.

Think I will need help quite soon. Does anyone see/know of Dr. in Suffolk or Nassau who might prescribe the pain meds I've been on for several years? Surgery might help one problem but can't afford the medicare co-pays (Try living on Long Island, N.Y. on 15,000 a year). I'm on disability - have a small house - can't sell and it will be liened if I applied for Medicaid. My present Dr. had a personal emergency and the office does not know if he'll be returning.
