my friend was given a pill and was told its something new called an oxyprophin, oxycodone with ibuprofen. It's a white capsule with thin blue powder inside but no imprints on the capsule. ive been on watson oxy/apap 10/325 for years, and they have always worked wonderfully. last month it was changed to actavis and it feels as if i'm taking HALF THE DOSE! it's HORRIBLE, and not only does it NOT work, it looks just like a tylenol or a norco; white and oblong. my sweet walgreens pharmacist called EVERY pharmacy in my town asking if they carry any watson brand percocet and they have ALL HAVE BEEN REPLACED by this crap brand. i've tried endocet, which is even worse... so now i'm on the hunt to search the town over for any remaining watson. my straight oxy has been changed to KVK brand, and it's nothing like watson, but it isn't completely worthless. i'm so glad i came on here because i really thought it was just me. i thought 'how could i possi...

What does RP and 833 mean and how do they release? ## Hello, Liz! How are you? What are the entire imprints on the tablets? I need these additional details to answer your question. For instance, there is a round, green tablet with TEVA one one side and 833 on the other that they list as containing 1mg of Clonazepam in a regular release formulation. Looks like an oxycodone - it has m inside a square and 30 on back on top of the line. But it is white in color, not pale blue - just WHITE. What could it be? ## Aside from the color, everything else in your description matches up with a typical 30mg Oxycodone IR pill made by Mallinckrodt. My first assumption is that if you didn't get it filled at a licensed pharmacy, then it's probably counterfeit. These days they do a pretty good job of making them look legitimate, so you can never be too certain unless you were to have the pill analyzed by a lab or drug panel to at least verify the presence of an opiate. Anybody have experience taking Oxycodone Hcl 15mg on tin foil? ## This is not a safe practice. Pills contain fillers and some of them are not meant to be broken down by the human body, they are normally expelled in your waste. When you use the pills in a way they are not intended for, even 'smoking' them, you are putting some of these substance in your body in a way that it cannot properly dispose of them. I have done herion and oxycodone and i have a drug test in three days. Will the herion show up as the same thing as the oxycodone on my drug test. I have been taking endocet 10/325 for yrs . Several my pharmacy has been out and given me oxycodone 10/325. I find I have to take 2 oxycodone a to 1 endocet . Why is that ? will a blood test show a specific drug or just that an opiate has been used? ## Most tests can show the specific type that was used, due to certain metabolites in the body. Thus, Oxycodone would be detected as Oxycodone, Methadone and Methadone and etc. In addition, some tests can detect the levels, so they know how much was taken. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I'm prescribed 4 oxycodone per day. Some days I take 6, some days 2. If PM does blood test what will it tell them? My former PM doc said "just take 1 before you come in." I don't understand how levels works... Can they tell how many/when, etc.? Should I just make sure I take 1 the night before and 1 the day of??

Many people don't realize it, but Acetaminophen is actually a very dangerous medication and may cause liver damage or failure. Additionally, an overdose of it can be fatally toxic. I have been taking between 30 -82 mg of oxycodone 3-4 times a day for 3 years and now my doctor wants me to start dilaudid at 8 mg and stop the oxy, but I'm afraid the dilaudid is not equal to the amount of oxy I am on and I will suffer withdrawals. My question is can I take oxy along with the dilaudid so I dont suffer w/d? If so how much oxy can I take? Thank you in advance. ## Hi deliteful, To answer your first question, dilaudid (hydromorphone) doesn't list any drug interactions with oxycodone, so I don't see why you wouldn't be able to take the two together as long as you inform your doctor about it first. On the other hand, because dilaudid IS reported to be much stronger than oxycodone, it's possible that you may not even need to add oxycodone back into the mix...

I had an appt last month with my pain dr and they're saying my urine test showed no Oxycodone. My appt was on a tuesday at 2:30 pm and I was having a Discogram so I didn't take Med bc I didn't want to effect my pain level when I had to describe it in the procedure. I was also sick the days leading up to it. I slept all day and took no meds. The sunday before my appt i took my 3 10mg Oxycodone as usual. How in the hell was there nothing in my system??? I've now been cut off bc of it and I don't understand what happened. And btw, no I was not going through withdrawals since someone will undoubtedly say that.

All of you out of state people coming to florida just to get these pills is ridiculous my wife has been on these pills since she was 16 and way before these fiends started showing up at the clinics making it difficult for legit people like my wife to fill, ANY ONE WHO IS NOT FROM HERE AND IS ON HERE LOOKING FOR ADVICE KINDLY F*** OFF. I am a patient at a pain management clinic. I take Hydrocodone daily, and Fentanyl patch. I've been a flawless patient for 7 years and am an older person. Very good relationship with my Dr. My last drug test came back positive for Oxycodone and I don't take it. Only Hydrocodone. All of my meds came back positive (a good thing) except NO Hydrocodone. I'm very upset. I took another test yesterday and I'm so concerned though I have no reason to be. Do labs make mistakes?
