Oxycodone Withdrawal Support (Top voted first)
UpdatedI've been on opiates for years, and I just want to offer encouragement to people who may be going through withdrawals. If it's urgent I'm here. If you have withdrawals and need help and support and money issues, I've been there myself, and can understand how it is. Sometimes it's hard to find the help you need when you need it most.

I am going through this now, I was dropped by my pain mgmt doctor due to a mistake, and his insane nurse. Incompetence, No one will help me, I had oral surgery scheduled for broken front crown, and I mentioned that I do not have doctor to manage pain through gum surgery, they called early yesterday morning and said Dr said there is nothing more he can do, and claimed to refer me to Pain Mgmt. well no call back and No One has apps for months, I am now 10 days off 30mg OXY and have Spinal DDD, Cervical DDD, arthritis and trouble walking after Occipital nerve blocks and trigger points where lung was punctured with Carbocaine, and other steroids by this DR. I got a month old letter saying I had excessive early refills, THEY allowed it, over and over, upped dosage, with no explanation, etc. I want to know how long also I will feel withdrawls. I have been in AGONY level 8 -9 pain scale mostly live in 7 all day long. used to be a runner active now not at all to stiff and rigid, scared to death. I took 2 other meds 1 for ADD and other for pain, I am going to run out soon, no one out there in northern California will help me, I have been searching for 6 weeks. any one know of a good doctor to at least help me taper or maintain in SF Bay Area let me know..bless you all
I share a lot of sympathy with those suffering from various ailments & disabilities. It's quite disheartening to hear that even after 6 weeks of searching for a doctor, that some of us still can't find the help we need. Our society as a whole is undergoing a lot of change right now underneath the surface, with doctor's agendas included... and it just doesn't seem right that it's affecting seriously ill patients in the way that it has been. But when it comes to down the nitty gritty, I feel that sites like this are a great way to reconnect with people and other patients who may have the information we might be looking for or at least know where to get it from (which is probably why a lot of us are here). However, I'd still encourage everyone to keep the faith and continue doing your own due diligence with regards to finding the help you know you deserve, despite past experiences and discouraging events. Eventually something has to pull through, and the difference may just be a matter of when and what sacrifices we might be willing to take in the process vs giving up and not getting any type of help at all. ~I wish everyone here good health and a pain free evening!
Thanks for your post David, after I wrote this I filed a complaint the the California Medical Board about all of what I wrote and more. I am still searching, still suffering, doing my best, like you say the sacrifices we are willing to make. I forgot to mention I got pulled over late May this year for registration stickers in Walnut Creek CA right before midnight, I had 4 cop cars surround me, just had went to gym tried to do some cardio, I have groin injury, can't see in the dark, whatever, my groceries were in car seat, 3 lattes, vents, 1 just had. I was arrested for DUID and put in jail for 12 hours for my prescriptions these drs wrote. Found out on 22nd that District Attorney and Walnut Creek Police did not want to press charges after all. They caused damage to my wrist refused to let me take a sweatshirt, I got pneumonia while in jail, air conditioning was on to 38 - 40 degrees and sheriffs don't care ic you die, mind you have NO body fat and froze for NO Reason for 12 hours never been filled over, no priors ever Im 50 and I have nice care and I am kind person, I wondered if they called the Dr office and verified the prescriptions? the Discharge letter from DR was prior to the arrest, now there is or was never a arrest, thank god, but it has caused all this harm now.
Thank you for the feedback Sj94510. I'm terribly sorry to hear about all that you had to endure as a result of those mindless/heartless police officers…to be surrounded by 4 cop cars in such a situation just seems ridiculous to say the least. You gotta wonder though that they probably wouldn't even call on that much reinforcement unless one of them was absolutely terrified of you or what you might've been capable of doing at the time…I guess there's no way of knowing for sure, but we can only hope and pray that this sort of thing never happens again. Take care and thank you once again for spreading awareness through your story.
bella, I wish I could help, I live in California. I got a appt on 10th july, but still who knows this docs office has bad reviews. I am just hoping to get relief, and not end up in hospital. I just got a copy of my records from the dr that discharged me, they just updated them recently since I filed a complaint with medical board. But I did not like the last entry I saw it was distorted, proves the nurses do not tell the dr there where I was what was going on. As I suspected. I did endless google searches and checked reviews made many calls and I got a return call yesterday that led to a referral and I hope it works out. The 10th is long way off still.
David,
The police in this city do this routinely to people. They don't fight crime they just trap their citizens like in this instance. I have seen this happen it Walnut Creek at night many times where 4 -5 cop cars stop someone in a certain area, where the college bars are. The major grocery stores are all in this area and they hang at the Target and mark some peoples tires, to see if they go to the bars and they create reasons to arrest or harass them, you could be at the whole foods shopping and they are in the lot and you find white chalk mark on wheels. Many friends out there told me about this, not kids adult professionals that have witnessed and PD Boasts about it, happens almost every night after 10pm. Im a tiny person. I don't look mean. My car is nice enough, get compliments a lot. It was quota, and their mistake, being that they never filed charges. just created a s*** storm and injured a person for no reason.
@Sj945100,
Wow, what are the odds of you mentioning that the police go around Whole Foods market putting chalk on people's tires, as I noticed that happening when I went shopping there just the other day and this guy with a badge on was walking around doing just that! I almost stopped and questioned him out of curiosity (this happened before I read your post), but he was so quick about avoiding confrontation that I would've had to chase him down and figured it wasn't worth the stress. Seems like our country is turning police against society trying to make things more difficult for us. I sure hope they get what they deserve in return. Thanks for the heads up and take care my friend!
Hi everyone. I'm going to be taking myself off of my Roxicodone 30mg. It's just time & I'm just over it. I'd rather live in pain than take pills that control my life at this point. I need some advice on how to wean off of these slowly so I don't get really sick. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.
