I've been taking oxycodone for about 2 1/2 years. I started off half 5/325 percocet and would get sick, but gradually now to 30mg at once every other day. I've been taking 20 mg at night lately, been taking during the day as well for the past 2-3 weeks. I have been feeling a little sick to my stomach, so I believe I'm beginning to feel withdrawal symptoms on my days off. Like I said I normally take 25 mg Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday - so about 5x a week and I want to stop now. I don't wanna go to a clinic. How bad do u think my withdrawal will be and last??? Any and all advice is thankful!

Hello, Bentley! How are you doing?

It would really be best to taper off slowly, by gradually lowering the amount you're taking and spacing each dose further and further apart to help prevent severe withdrawals from occurring.

The FDA lists them as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, fever, chills, diarrhea and rebound pain.

And after taking it for several years, it may take about a month for them to fully of away.

Is there anything else I can help with?
