Oxycodone Vs Ms Contin

I have a spondylolisthesis at L-5. My pain management doctor wants to switch me from 10/325 Oxycodone to ms contin. How much ms contin would give me the same pain relief?

Hello Bob! How are you doing?

You need 1.5mgs of Morphine (MS Contin) for each 1mg of Oxycodone, so 15mgs is equal to each 10mgs and so on.

This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
