Oxycodone Verse Percocet

Ok I'm talking 10mg of oxycodone, they are very tiny and pink. My question is I hear people say they take 5/500....or some numbers like that and their round and white. What is the difference? My Dr told me to take two in the morning and 2 in the evening. That's not helping me and it's scaring me Cuz I don't want to raise the dose!

Percocet contains Oxycodone coupled with Acetaminophen, because it can augment the narcotic, so it works better for some people. That's why they list 2 numbers in the dosage, for example the 5 would be the amount of Oxycodone and the 500 would be the amount of Acetaminophen, though it does need to be acknowledged that doses containing more than 325mgs of Acetaminophen are no longer available.

If your current dosage isn't working for you, you may want to ask your doctor about trying it. It might be more effective for you.

This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
