Oxycodone Refill Issues

Hello I’ve been taking oxycodone 30 for about 10 years and I went to walmart pharmacy for almost 8 years they started using another generic maker and I can’t take it it makes. Me sick so I now go to kroger they are so rude I’ve been with them for 2years almost today they said I couldn’t have my medication until the 29 th day my bottle has a different date than what they allowed me to pick up I was wondering if the insurance will refill shouldn’t they allow me to pick up it’s been 28 days

No, they do not have to, they are allowed to make you wait until just before you are out, they can actually make you wait until the 30th day, if they wish. This is a controlled substance and the DEA has issued some very strict directives regarding such prescriptions.

The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth.
