Oxycodone Drinking Alcohol Two Days Later

Hello! I had minor surgery on a few teeth, and my doctor prescribed me oxycodone. I've taken them, once a day, from Saturday until Thursday. If I don't take any on Friday, could I drink Saturday night without facing any risks?

It is always best to check with your prescriber, before imbibing.

However, that should be okay, if they approve, but you may still experience more intense side effects than usual, such as being more nauseous, drowsy and dizzy. So, please make sure that you will not be driving or operating any dangerous machinery.

The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
