Oxycodone And Constipation

I am taking 5mg of Oxy 3-4 times daily. The resulting conspitation kicks my butt........any solution?

This same thing happened to a friend of mine who was also on oxycodone. They pretty much had to resort to taking laxatives on a regular basis to help counteract this side effect.

If it makes it any easier, there are plenty of teas out there that can achieve this laxative effect. Other than that, I think it would just come down to switching medications to avoid constipation, as odd as that may sound.
