Oxycodone And Tylenol Safe To Take Together?

My Oxycodone 5mg does not contain Tylenol. Can I take the Oxycodone with over the counter Tylenol?

You can do that, as long as your doctor approves.

Acetaminophen does augment the action of narcotics, in some people that take them, so you should be aware that it could make it more potent and you may experience more severe side effects.

The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
