Oxycodone Patients Need Website Petition To Legally Go After The Dea

Will someone with webmaster skills please start a petition site against the DEA and pharmacy's that hold us and are doctor wrote scripts as hostage. By the hundreds of thousands of tax paying chornic pain Florida citizens we have a voice and it should be heard by boycotting every namebrand pharmacy and the so called good neighbor network. Hit them where it hurts in there sales; you make while your getting your scripts filled at their convient wait and shop while your here gimmick. Suggest starting with Face book community to get petition started or a website dedicated to this Florida crisis that has filled every talk, chat,medical,social, and forum board. Now let your voice be heard.

With all due respect, this post is difficult to understand as written. What is going on, for those of us that do not live in Florida you will have to explain your post. I can only assume that you are having difficulty either getting a script or filling it due to the over prescribing of narcotics at pill mills in Florida. Why do you think Florida became a pill mill state so easily and what do you think the solution is? Other states have CPPs and do not have the issues Florida has or has taken to surrounding states by busing patients in for the illegal sale of these medications that many of us require to lead productive lives without dealing with unbearable levels of pain. I am perplexed by this whole Florida mess which has now spread to other areas but again originated by the loose prescribing practices of many Florida pill mill docs and now Florida pharmacies face penalties if they fill those scripts. Certainly they can't refuse to fill hospice scripts and the like so there must be a list of doctors they are told to not fill - there's got to be more to the problems of getting scripts filled. I have heard that they are imposing limits on the amounts of roxies that pharmacies can order/fill. Possibly there is a shortage, there are a number of drug shortages if you review the FDA's site. Anyone with an answer or viewpoint, please respond.

You don’t read do you? You might try listening to news or something before locating a problem in Florida. I hear you to the original poster and I will attempt to gather people from DePaul University because people who abuse drugs should not be allowed to abuse people in pain with stigma and more pain and depression or suicide. Let them kill only themselves, not the innocent. It’s repulsive that people blame everything but the person who overdosed. They likely wanted to die to escape those same people who are now seeking money...they don’t miss their dead substance abusers. They miss the free pills and money.

I am in Maine and they are forcing me off of my pain medication that I have been in on for 8 years! I cannot stand up straight or walk on my own. I have severe debilitating pain every single day and my pain medicine is the only thing that allows me to do any physical activity or quality of life! I have Crohn's disease and malabsorption so I have to take double doses of all of my medication. They have forced all independent doctors to merge with large hospital networks here and they ALL have implemented policies straight across the board to take any and everyone on opiates, for the CORRECT reason, off of the only medication that gives them life! This lady told me that my pain medicine does not work, it's dangerous, and it will kill me. I said with all due respect, it gave me my life back and now you are taking it! She told me that Suboxone will work for me because it even worked for her cat! I am not a cat! I am a human being and I shouldn't have to suffer or beg for a legal prescription! What they are doing is wrong and I pray that my sons go after every single one them because I won't make it through this!
