Oxycodone Hydrochloride Vs Oxycodone Acetaminophen (Top voted first)

I had surgery on my foot/ankle about 5 days ago. My dr prescribed percocets 5-325 for the first few days and now oxycodone hcl 5. I have only been prescribed percocets after my 3 c-sections so I don't really know a lot about pain killers. I asked my dr what the difference was and she rambled a lot of big words which I didn't understand. I have tried researching but all of the info is so technical. I pretty much want to know.. in layman's terms, or from someone who is or had taken at some point what the actual difference is besides the percocets also have tylenol in them. Is one stronger(even though they are both 5 mg of oxycodone), last longer, different side effects besides liver with use of tylenol? I am asking because I feel like the percocets helped more with the pain and if I am the only one who thinks so.

The Acetaminophen in the Percocet augments the action of the Oxycodone, so they are actually slightly stronger.

The other one is just the narcotic, Oxycodone, without the Acetaminophen. It's given a many times just to try to cut down on how much Acetaminophen someone is taking, since it can be very dangerous. Too much Acetaminophen for a long period of time can cause liver damage or failure.

ive been getting percocet 10 for some time now. this month, my script was $50 more than usual. the pharmacist said it was because they had 2 use a dif pharmacutical co-thats why the price increase. when i gooled the imprints on the pill tho-It said it was oxycodone hydrochloride/apap. whats the difference? should i return to the pharmacy and complain?
