Oxycodone Doctor Near Lorain, Ohio

Need reference for a doctor that will prescribe Oxycodone or similiar for chronic back pain due to scoliosis fusion. New insurance, having trouble getting a Good new doctor.

Hello, Davemb! How are you? I'm sorry that you're in pain.

Unfortunately, there is no listing of doctors according to who will or will not prescribe any given medication that I can refer to for you.

Technically, any doctor with a license to practice could prescribe it, but due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, if you require some type of narcotic on a long-term ongoing basis, then you'll need to see a pain management specialist.

Have you tried getting in with a PCP, yet? Doing that and then having them refer you to pain management will likely be the easiest way to find the help you need.

Does anyone know of a good doctor in that area?
