Oxycodone A51 Vs A215 - Is It Real Or Fake?
UpdatedHi everyone,
I went to refill my oxycodone script... I got them from what seemed to be a trustworthy place but when I showed them to my friend, we noticed there were two totally different pills.
One was a light blue that said A215. I know this one is legitimate, I've somewhat dealt with these in the past... but the second one, it was a way darker pill, I would say a little bit thicker as well and that one reads A51. When I called them back to ask why, they said it was from 2 different manufacturers and since it was a different company the same exact pill just looks different but they are both 30 mg oxycodone.
I did hear about fake pills going around, especially with oxys. Obviously no one is going to admit that its fake so I'm hoping I could get some assistance here ... i dont know if because they saw I wasn't as knowledgeable if they are lying to me or if I'm really just not experienced and it is okay and I'm overreacting .. either way, I just wanted to make sure.
Please someone give me some info if this A51 is legit or if I should only deal with the A215!

Ashleigh, the A51 pill you're describing is identified as Oxycodone 30mg from Amneal pharmaceuticals. Here is a link to the product page from the manufacturer. Is this what you have?

Hope this helps!
Thanks so much ... all in all, they're the same thing ... right??
Technically in the most basic sense, yes - the same active ingredient and strength. I won't get into certain differences between generic manufacturers such as inactive ingredients and/or slight variances in active ingredient contained in them. All in all they should provide the same therapeutic effect. Hope this helps!
A lot of the fake a215 are being cut with fentanyl along with other pressed oxys. The a51 are made for abuse proof they have narcan in the pill. BTW they have a gel if you try to bust them up there unusable. {edited for safety reasons}
Re: Ed (# 4)
This is not true, almost every word of what you said is completely inaccurate. And suggesting you can take 6 or 7 of them with no risk of overdose is ignorant and dangerous.
Re: Ed (# 4)
People like you Ed is what makes the world a bad place. You are spreading lies like the PATHOLOGICAL LIAR you are. Why do people like you feel neccessary to spew lies even when you are clueless.
Re: Santashelper (# 5)
Well I remember at my worst I was taking 10 30 mg three times a day on top of 5 or 6 bars and Fentanyl patches I honestly don't know how I'm still alive today that's enough. Kill an elephant and never overdose
