Oxycodone 30mg Pain Clinics (Page 64)

i have been having trouble getting a good dr who will write oxycodone 30 mg. my back has been broken before and i was going all the way to Florida (a 16 hour drive) just to get my meds. So if anybody knows of any it would be helpful. i live in KY so as long as it is closer that's fine. Thank you.

I want to find an out of state doctor who will work with me on pain medicine. In NC you can feel violated and talked about if you're taking pain meds. I stay at home 90% of my time. I am blessed to have such a great wife and friend of 34 years who supports me and genetic draw backs I was born with. I have been in 22 possible ( could of been) life altering accidents in my life. Of what I can now remember.
Started working on our farms by 1st grade spraying poison chemicals by 3rd grade and moving 50 pd bags of fertilizer planting corn.

My Doctor retired in 2015.
I want to get hooked up out of state since those here who think they know my business will stress their self out and give me a break..

I think your full of it. I myself was almost killed in 2002 and cant get but 60 10mg oxycodone now. I used to get 60 80mg OC the real kind and 60 perks for breakthrough but not anymore. I hurt everyday and fight everyday not to just end it all.

Just a small agreement: do not ever go into a new doctor's office and tell him what you want. My state of residence is particularly suspicious of patients who use this approach. Pharmacists are cracking down on patients who even appear to be doctor-shopping.
One more item: OxyContin is still referred to as "hillbilly heroin", due to its "easy" availability and the feelings of euphoria that accompany its ingestion. #1 is just plain false. You must prove to a physician that you experience constant, intractable pain. Doctors are not easy to convince. They are thinking far ahead into the future when they might be hit with a lawsuit by your family as a result of prescribing you a drug he found medically necessary. #2 - there is no euphoria associated with the current formulation. In fact, there should be no "high" if you are in real pain and need real relief. OxyContin does its job, which is to kill pain, and nothing more.

Hello everyone my name is Shauntay and my husband suffers from chronic pain...we are from southeast ky and have not had any success with the docs around here trying to get him pain meds to help him deal with the torment..they act scared to death to write a narcotic script...im thinking we should try a out of state pain clinic and see how it goes.if anyone has any info to share on a good office to go to that takes ky patientsin tn or va somewhere close to us pppllleeeaaassseee help..we have insurance but will pay cash if we have to...im desprite and dont know what to do...any info on a good office would be greatly appreciated...do u need referrals from docs to go to the clinics??

Auto-correct messed up some of my thoughts in previous post. I will watch more carefully this time.
I'm highly suspicious that many of these posts are coming from the same source. Same mis-spellings, same effort to make writers come across dumber than rocks...it does not look good.
If you are north of the Mason-Dixon line and have a Pain Clinic in your town, by all means check it out, but do not expect help. With a thick file of test results, like MRIs, CT scans, x-rays, blood work, and visits to specialists, e.g., a rheumatologist if you suffer with arthritis, you *might* get help. If help translates as narcotic pain pills, which is what everyone seems to want. Everyone in health care is terrified of the DEA these days. Many doctors and pharmacists are abusing their powers by refusing to prescribe or dispense legitimate meds for patients in legitimate need. If you feel you have a true need, you're going to have to invest time and money for tests. If you're an overweight, single female over 40, your chances of getting narcotic help are slim. Sorry, but that's the way the game is rigged. Men who initially refuse drugs have the best chance of getting them. If the pharmacy companies and lobbyists were not so greedy, people would get what they need.

I have been in Pain Management now for 2 years. I have been on Perc 5/325 the entire time. I've had 3 back surgeries beginning at age 13 for scoliosis. I had metal rods placed with bone grafts from cadaver and my femoral head. Due to a work accident lifting a patient one rod slipped under my shoulder blade and I had the rods removed some years later. My lumbar spine has curved significantly over the years. It hits my kidney, twists and curves in ward also. It feels like my lower spine is snapping. I also have sciatica now too. My doc won't up my dosage. So I'm looking into another doctor. Dr Peters takes to long to get in and my PCP won't refer me there. Any suggestions please!!!

No doctors in Atlanta for chronic pain. Why? Because the CDC is dictating guidelines. 3 days of meds for chronic pain. People are committing suicide. But, that's what our government wants us to do. They are running out of Social Security. May as well be in Nazi Germany.
