Oxycodone 30mg Pain Clinics (Page 27)
Updatedi have been having trouble getting a good dr who will write oxycodone 30 mg. my back has been broken before and i was going all the way to Florida (a 16 hour drive) just to get my meds. So if anybody knows of any it would be helpful. i live in KY so as long as it is closer that's fine. Thank you.
I would be very thankful for the doctors name if you do not mind given me their name. Thank-You for offering to help me out.
Other than making it almost impossible to find a doctor who is willing to prescribe pain medicine. ( Dr.'s are scared to write them) The new KAPER law does not change anything for me. I have always used 1 doctor, 1 drug store, take my
medicine as prescribed and use no other controlled substances.
hey i also live in ky. i have records and go to a pain clinic but they only give tabs. could u tell me who and where you go? greatly appreciate it.
hey, im needing a new doc. my doc is just not helping. i would love to have name and # if u dont care. ty
I am in urgent need of pm advice. I am relocating to Lexington, KY from OH at the end of this month. I am currently 8 weeks postop from lvl 3 cervical spine fusion with donor bone, plate and bolts. I have all of my MRI and CT scans from past 3 years all from same facility. I need a compassionate doctor that will help in pain relief and not negate my pain level. My surgeon was a joke, discharged me 19 hours after the surgery to take perc 10/325 4x a day for 1 month and now back down to 3x a day. 4 wasnt even enough post op, I was taking Roxi and delodid every 3 hour in hospital. I am not a junky looking for a high, I dont need massive loads of heavy stuff but I damn sure need something better than percocet 3x a day ad soma 3x a day. Those were same doses I have been on for over a year. I just want a patients personal recommendation on a competent, caring doctor. My surgeon did a set of xrays 3 days post op said looks good, we will check back in 6 weeks and @ that appt does NOT redo the xray and then tells me take percocet 10 3x a day and come back at the end of May! Istill have lmbar damage too, ddd, narrowing, nerves pinched, spurs, stenosis, fybromyalgia. This move is fast and unexpected so I need help fast so I do not have to suffer longer than necessary. It is definitely going to be hard on my body. I have Medicare so I am insured, I have all my scans. {edited for privacy}. Im hoping to get help findiing someone legitimate fast.
Sorry I do not agree, It is a lot more complicated then following a few rules. The rules are not new, my doc had me sign a contract with the same rules 6 years ago. Way before the KASPER Law was ever heard of.
The Kasper law is set up with NO Consideration for the real chronic pain patient, which I am. Have you read the KASPER LAW? I have. The doctor's have to meet certain requirements. The are very few who do, If they do meet the requirements. Then law enforcement is raiding their offices looking for anything to shut them down. This happened to my doctor and several others in south central KY. Only my doctor has remained opened for now. But they are not accepting new patient. I am also on methadone which is not really helping much with my pain, but it is better than nothing. Before this doctor I was on morphine. But my current doc is scared to put me back on morphine. He is under federal investigation after they raided his office. Law enforcement and several others are looking for anything they can use to shut him down. So watch out your doctor in KY could be next.
yes what is your docs name??
I go to pain management and they will not give me anything but lortab 5. I don't have a drug record, pass the tests. When I lived in Arizona the specialist there told me as I got older my pain would escalate due to the bones breaking down onto the discs. I'm at my wits end. If I go seek anither Dr. Ill be accused of Dr. shopping. What the hell? If you get little to no help you have to do something else.
My neck was broken in 2005. I had spinal fusion, two titanium rods, several screws and lower back problems as well. My pain is well documented but finding a clinic that is not just another pill-mill, to pricey because I am self pay, or will not take me w/o insurance has become very discouraging. Please can anyone help? I don't mind traveling but don't want to wast my time and money w/a clinic that is going to prescribe lortab or epidural injections they do not work for me.
Your only doctor shopping when you go to multiple doctors and fill scripts from multiple doctors with in a 30 day period. If you leave a doctor and notify the doctors of your intent it is not doctor shopping (Doctor shopping or double doctoring refers to the practice of a patient requesting care from multiple physicians, often simultaneously, without making efforts to coordinate care or informing the physicians of the multiple caregivers.)
I had left my Dr. that I had in Pitts. in Nov(He insisted on giving me 60 mg of Morphine. It made me sick but didn't relieve pain) to go see a new Dr. in Greenville. In Jan the new Dr. gave me 30 mg of oxycodone 4 times a day. I started to get more exercise, got my house cleaned up, was losing weight. In Feb, went to my monthly appt, and my new Dr. was gone replaced by another Dr. Turns out the first new Dr. was temporary. So this 2nd new Dr. took me off of one of the oxycodone to get it 3x a day. The Mar appt he put me on 15mg of oxycodone, and 10mg of Methdone. Now you know what Methdone does. It blocks the oxycodone from working.
So, I got to find a Dr. that will continue to take my pain seriously. I am at the end stages of lumbar stenosis. I have arthritus in both ankles, one elbow. Got a couple blown disc in my thoracic spine. In the need of a 2nd replacement in my right knee. Life without pain meds will put me in my pwer chair for good, and never being able to lose weight. I just want pain relief, so I can go walking and lose wieght. If anyone knows of any caring doctors in Erie, Pa. please let me know.
Thanks
Kentucky pain clinic, Lexinton....They will try to help you but Ky. has alot of restriction's on pain clinic's. Whatever you do have what you are prescribed in your system only when you go in.
I live a lot closer to Nashville, TN then Louisville or Lexington KY. Does anyone know a doctor in the Nashville area who will prescribe morphine. Since I have been off of it I can not do a fraction of what I used to do.
Hello...I'm aware of the definition of doctor shopping but in Kentucky if you leave one doctor because he or she isn't relieving your pain and try to find a doctor who will write you prescriptions for pain relief, it is considered doctor shopping. Thats how those who enforce this bull in Ky. look at it and sanction people for trying to get relief from chronic pain.
Hi, I go to the clinic in Lex. I was told they would not increase nor change my med. The reason they gave me is they didn't want me to become a pillhead. Meanwhile, I'm in enough pain that I see why some people give up the legal means and go to the illegal. It sjould not come down to this.
Keeta, I completely understand, I've been there & there is a way you can go to another doctor and not be accused of "shopping" I wish you were in Louisville, I could help you get into my family doc who'd send you to a PM doctor that follows all the new laws but still helps you find something that will relieve your pain. I was seeing a different doc who wasn't helping at all, I told my family doc what was going on and he got me into a different doctor who is amazing. If you want some info let me know {edited for privacy}. Hopefully they won't block that. I'd really like to help you cause I've been there & you sound like you are truly trying to find relief and not just looking for pills to
Get high
You can switch doctors, I did it recently, as long as you don't switch more than once, you can also tell them you are moving and need to switch, a friend of mine went that route. I talked to my family doctor (who is very understanding) about it and he referred me to a different PM doctor, all I had to do not to throw up a red flag was to get a release from my previous doctor to show I wasn't seeing more than one, I just told them I wanted to go to a doctor closer to where I lived and they didn't question it at all. My new PM Dr. is amazing and he follows all the new, although ridiculous, new laws but has still helped me tremendously, I went from Lortab to Roxicodone 15's along with neurontin 400 mg and flexaryl, the combo works great for me, although I am not 100% pain free, my pain is bearable and I get to live my life again. I hope you can find the help you need, you seem like someone who truly need relief
What state are you in Ghost?
@devilishdiva, if you don't mind going to a doctor in Louisville I can give you my family docs name, he'll refer you to a great PM dr that follows ALL the rules but will get you the relief you need
@Cindi, unfortunatly with the new laws in KY, you'd have to be a resident and I believe you have to live with a 1 hour drive from the doctor for them to write you a script for a narcotic. Good luck to you on finding relief
@Michelle I see Dr. Jaime Guerrero but you have to have a referral to get in, the doctor who referred my (who's awesome btw, he'll give you percs to last till you can get into Dr G) is Rosenburg Reyes, they're both in Louisville, Dr. Reyes five zero two three six eight two five six three, just take your tests results with you if you go and he'll get you set up. Hope this helps someone. BTW, Dr G has already gone through investigation by DEA and passed everything so he won't be disappearing like so many others have, the only bad thing about either of them is you are usually at their office for a minimum of 2 hours but they are such good doctors that its worth the wait, I don't mean good just box they'll help you get meds, but good NYC they both actually care about their patients and really listen to them
