Oxycodone 30 Vs. Oxycodone With Acetaminophen

My dr in a different city prescribed oxycodone 30 mg every six hrs. I cant get to him right now and am out of them. The er dr prescribed oxycodone 5mg with acetaminophen 325mg. Can i take two?

You should only take the amount that the doctor has directed on the prescription. It could be dangerous to take too much of the Acetaminophen that's in them.

The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.

It is actually amazing that the ER prescribed any narcotic for you, as most usually refuse to do so, now.

When can you get in to see your regular doctor?

relief.Since your original dose was six
Times stronger.The only difference is
the presence of acetaminophen that
Your previous oxycodone 30 did not contain.As the someone mentioned it's never wise to exceed the dosage indicated on the prescription vial.I would suggest finding a new pcp so he can prescribe the medication you previously found affective.
