Teva Pharmaceuticals, the company that purchased Pliva, lists this tablet as containing 20mgs of Propranolol, which which is used to treat high blood pressure, and certain cardiac conditions. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension.

There is no generic time released/extended release formulation available, at this time, in the U.S. It is only available from Purdue Pharma as the name brand, Oxycontin.
