Is there a new law trying to get rid of 30mg oxycodone? I'm wondering because my doctor whom I've been seeing has brought mostly everybody down to 20mg. Is this true?

Not actually a law, in most states, just a DEA directive to try to help reduce abuse of this opiate and improper/over prescribing.
The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.
Your doctor has to account for every prescription they write for such medications, and if the DEA has questions, they risk paying large fines, losing their license to practice medicine, and jail time.
