Why do the teal 30mg capsules taste like mildew?

A lot of people actually think Oxycodone tastes pretty foul and bitter ("awful" may even be a more accurate description lol). I can't imagine being on it for too long if you have to choke it down every time. Although I do wonder if some brands or manufacturers actually taste worse than others...
