Oxybutynin Side Effects Finally Stop

I was prescribed oxybutynin 5 mg twice a day for incontinence. I had done bladder training, etc. all exacerbated by chronic pain from spinal stenosis. I had extremely dry mouth and throat and stomach pain, sometimes severe, which are "common" side effects. After two weeks my body was not adjusting. Stomach pains worse then had bright red bleeding in urine and on TP. Stopped taking Oxybutynin 2 days ago. Blood in urine mostly gone, urine still a little murky. Still have stomach pain when I eat (plain mild food, yogurt, applesauce). I want to know how long it takes for this med to get completely out of your body? (Have doctor's appointment in two weeks.)

Those symptoms seem to be more indicative of an infection, rather than medication side effects, though I'm not a doctor to say for certain.

The others you've listed as common side effects are correct, the FDA also reports that may experience dizziness and blurred vision.

It usually takes 4 to 5 weeks for your body to adjust to a medication.

I was taking half a 5 mg tablet twice a day and it felt like it hurt my bladder. Or it was giving me menstrual cramps a week early.
An old knee injury that sometimes feels arthritic has been THROBBING since day two on this med. That might be due to weather since it’s mid October in the north east US, but it was so sudden and severe I suspect this medication.
Anyone else have lower abdominal pain and joint pain?
