Oxybutynin 15mg For Oab

I have been on Oxybutynin 15mg for quite awhile for my overactive bladder and it just doesn't seem to help. What time of the day is best for taking this? I don't really know what to do-i don't like doctors, no offense if you are one. Please let me know what time is best for taking this?

No worries, I am not a doctor, so no offense taken, I completely understand. Some of them are very hard to deal with, some don't want to listen to patients, some just want to throw medications at them, some won't answer questions..... some are guilty of all of these, and more. It can be hard to find a good one that actually pays attention. I took me so long that my husband was desperately hoping his insurance would allow me to stay with the ones I've been seeing, after we got married, because he didn't want new doctors playing with my medications, since they've kept my blood pressure in control for years. Luckily, both my PCP and Cardiologist accept it, otherwise, that crazy man would have insisted on paying cash for all my appointments and medications. :-)

Anyway, that's part of the reason sites like this exist, so people can find help and get answers, when they have trouble getting them from their doctor, nurse, pharmacist, or etc.

As to the Oxybutynin, if you've been taking it for awhile, with no results, then I'm sorry to say that you will likely need to see your doctor again, because you might need to try a different medication. There's no best time of day that will make it start working for you.

Have you been experiencing any of the side effects the FDA says it can cause, such as nausea, dizziness, or blurry vision?
