Found a pill that is blue round has 80 oc on it and can't find anything out about it. ## Is it blue or green? If it's green, then it's an 80mg Oxycontin tablet, one from the old formulation that are no longer available. it contains the narcotic Oxycodone in a time released formulation, which means that it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, drowsiness and constipation. The Oxy 80mg are green. But the oxycodones I think change size and color with each manufacturer. I was told Oxys only come Brand and limited manufactures? But I'm not sure. I remember when they didn't have the funny junk in them to make them so chewy! ## Hi Cera, You're right, most oxycodones do change form with each manufacturer and dosage adjustment. However, there are also plenty of manufacturers for generic Oxycodone; pretty much the same number that many other prescription drugs tend to have. There are: Actavis/Watson, Qualitest, Corepharma LLC, Amneal, Lehigh Valley Technologies, Mylan, Ethex Corporation, KVK Tech Inc., Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals, and possibly more. I hope this helps in any way!

I had a pre-employment 10 panel urine test done at LabCorp and resulted through e-Drug Test. I was taking oxycontin, adderall, allegra, seroquel and clonazepam. It resulted positive for amphetamines (from the adderall) and negative for benzodiazepines (although my use of clonazepam was daily and long term). The problem is it tested POSITIVE for propoxyphene. I simply do not understand it. I even paid to have it sent to a second lab to be retested because I had never taken propoxyphene (darvocet, darvon, etc). It was positive at the second lab as well. Propoxyphene was taken off the market years ago. I need to be accountable for this, but how can I prove that I didn't take the medication? The whole thing is ridiculous because why on earth would I take propoxyphene when I had a valid ...

Long story short, my new insurance will not cover 1/3 of my 30 mg oxycontin. I notice on my breakthrough meds, Oxycodone 20 mg, the bottle says, "Generic for Roxicodone." Is there another name for Oxycodone that my insurance will cover? Btw, my ins. will cover 4 a day 60 mg and the same for 80 mg! I am only asking for 3 a day of the 30 mg! What is funny is playing with insurance coverage online, I put in 100 pills a day for oxycodone, and my insurance will approve! Really? I realize that would never happen, but I am just saying, they have got their heads up their..... ## No, there is no other name for Oxycontin, the active ingredient is Oxycodone in a time released formulation, but it isn't available as a generic anymore. I wonder how their coverage checker is reading them, ...

The TB12 just specifically designates the every 12 hour dosing. :-) The TB12 isn't commonly used, but I have seen it a few times before. Learn more Oxycontin details here. Peristaltic contractions stopped by opiod or oxycontin use can be alleviated with use of this new medication which unblocks the pain receptors in the intestines. What is it called, Terpin?, Torpin? Tarpin? ## Hi Suze54, Based on your description, I think you might be referring to Terpin Hydrate w/codeine. Terpin hydrate is an expectorant, commonly used in the treatment of acute and chronic bronchitis as well as other upper respiratory tract conditions. However, it is commonly formulated with an antitussive (e.g., codeine) as a combined preparation. I'm thinking perhaps it was most likely the codeine in it this preparation that helped alleviate those pain receptors in the intestines. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Terpin hydrate Details Any thoughts on this being ...

i had a broken leg in 2007 was prescribed vicodin 750, in 2010 i had major brain surgery and was prescribed more 750 mg vicodin, but my tolerance is so high that my doctor prescribed me oxycotin 30 mg, can you please tell me what one pill of 750 vicodin equals one pill of 30 mg oxycotin./....please help ## if u are taking the 10/750 vicodins, the 30 mg oxy is like taking 3 vicodins. oxy is an opiate as well. minus the acetametaphine (tylenol) that's in vicodin.. ## Yes, the Oxycodone is stronger, but I can't really give you a comparison, without knowing the precise dosage of the Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen combination you were taking. The 750 you posted just refers to the Acetaminophen, but there are several different strengths of the Hydrocodone available. Have you tried the Oxyc...

I bought some op 20s with the coating scraped off already. They are easy to break with my fingers. Are they suppose to do that? ## I think you got taken. An oxygen 20 with no coating would have been hard as a rock. Sorry. Never buy anything without the coating. You can't verify what it really is without the coating and numbers. Be smarter next time!

Oxycontin 5mg. Verses oxybutynin5 mg.IS THIS THE SAME DRUG? ## Hi, Tammy! No, they aren't related and aren't used to treat the same things, at all. Oxycontin is a time released formulation of the narcotic analgesic Oxycodone, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, drowsiness and constipation. Learn more Oxycontin details here. However, Oxybutynin is an anticholinergic that's used to treat frequent urination and urinary incontinence. Its side effects may include nausea, dizziness, blurred vision and difficulty urinating. Learn more Oxybutynin details here. So, as you can see they are two very different medications. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I am experiencing moderate to extreme difficulty ...

HELP! My husband has been taking Oxycodone for approximately 2yrs for a tumor that is on his spine. Dr.s won't even biopsy it because it's position is very iffy, (liability). Optumrx filled this medication without question for at least 6 myths then all of a sudden said no unless it is sent along with a time release medication. He is in so much pain as well as sick from withdrawl. What medications are they suggesting and why. All answers will be helpful ## Hi, Hinky! I'm very sorry that you're having this issue. To explain it, there are new regulations regarding such prescriptions for managing chronic pain, they were put in place due to increasing concerns about improper prescribing, over prescribing and pain mismanagement. "Purdue Pharma recently announced it is conducting clinical trials on OxyContin in children. Immediately some have criticized, suggesting that the exposure to opioids at an early age will inevitably lead to addiction later in life. The larger issue that was missed is that there are times opioids are necessary for children. Children in intensive care units, emergency rooms, post operatively or in rehab often require strong analgesics. These are children with cancer, with severe burns, with sickle cell anemia or other conditions. It would be cruel and inhumane to leave children untreated who experience extraordinary amounts of pain. Of course opioids should not be the first line of therapy if an alternative is available, but they may be the only way to provide relief. So the question ...

It is peach small and round, OC on one side and 333 on the other. Has anyone ever seen this? Help please! Thanks:) ## Hi Jennifer, Based on the description provided, the closest match I could find is a small round peach pill marked with "OC" one side and "20" on the other. This particular pill is identified as Oxycontin 20 mg. Manufacturer: Purdue Pharma LP National Drug Code (NDC): 59011-0103 I'm just not seeing any peach pills listed with "333", even in and of itself. But it's 'possible' that the OC 333 depicts "oxycodone + acetaminophen", since this is a common drug combination. Whereabouts did you find this pill at? If anyone else has thoughts on what this might be, please do share!

need to know what look like ## Oxycontin is a time released formulation of the narcotic Oxycodone, it is now only available as the name brand manufactured by Purdue to try to better control the supply to curb abuse, theft and diversion. The original formulation had the letters OC on the tablets, with a number designating the dosage on the opposite side. The new formulation uses the letters OP. The color coding is as follows: 10mg white 20mg pink 30mg brown 40mg yellow 60mg red 80mg green and the 160mg that is no longer manufactured was blue. You can learn more Oxycontin details here. Supposed to b oxycontin?? 20 mg. its a purplr/gray capsule with = = on it,what is it? ## Oxycontin is a time released formulation of Oxycodone and it's only available as a tablet. The only one available in a capsule is a 5mg instant release and it doesn't meet this description or have that type of logo on it. Where did you get it? Who told you it was Oxycontin? Based on your description, I am more prone to believe that it's an over the counter product, of some type. Does anyone else recognize this capsule? ## just a friend said that, she is the one trying to find out ,but i have hunted all over the internet and can't even find any kind of anything matching it it,it's about the size of a tylenol capsule,a dark purple(maybe dark, dark blue) on one side and the other is g...

small blue with ABC and 100 on other side ## Found a stash of these in little bothers shoe ABC 100 round Bluish pill/ What is it? ## oxycontin 100mg is what you found. they are probably the strongest pain killer made and are highly addictive and very dangerous. ## Actually, a tablet with the marking of ABG 100 that matches this description is a 100mg extended release Morphine tablet, a generic for MS Contin. It isn't quite as strong as Oxycontin, but it is still a potent narcotic analgesic, so it does have the potential to be habit forming and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and constipation.
