Oxycodone 20mg Tab Rho Vs 20mg Tab Kvk
UpdatedI bounce between two Wal-Mart pharmacy's (a few miles apart). My regular Wal-Mart pharmacy has not had my prescription of OxyCODONE more than three times in the past 36 mounts (3 years) It seems to be very lazy pharmacy employees. These two of three (all three) Wal-Marts in my city, dispense different medications for the same prescription. I cannot get a straight answer from any of their employees why they dispense different medications from the same pharmacy group. I believe the KVK activate quickly but do not last as long as the RHO. The RHO seem to work a little longer but not as strong. Beside constipation, side effects are small. But I am running into problems as the medications are not working for a long. The pain relief is not as powerful as 6 months ago. My doctor, a very good doctor, I have been going to from the 80's. He seems to know his stuff and believes a back surgery 9/2014 went bad and may need cleaning of scar tissue. I will be going for a MRI this next few weeks to see if that is the problem. I pray it is not. Everybody be were of surgery. The hospital WHERE the original surgery had a 20% infection rate. How can a hospital be accredited!!!!

Whether a pharmacy does or does not have any given controlled substance is not due to having lazy employees. The DEA gives each pharmacy a certain allotted amount that they are allowed to order and have in stock, the number is based on pharmacy size and customer base. Once they run out, they are out, until they can reorder the following month. Late last year, the DEA decided to lower the amount of opiates that manufacturers are allowed to produce this year, which also lowers the amounts any given pharmacy can keep in stock. Thus, it's just not something they can do anything about, their hands are tied.
As to the different generics at different Wal-Marts, that completely depends on which particular distributor they are using and who they listed as having the cheapest generic, whenever that store needed to restock their supply, which of course, may not always coincide with when the other store needed to restock.
The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.
You may need to speak to your doctor about a dosage adjustment, while waiting for your MRI.
Does anyone else have any ideas or suggestions?
