I would like to know the non generic name of oxycontin. I just had a fussion on the L3 through L5 and a compression procedure on both sides of my lower lumbar.
The doctor also prescribed Oxycodone /APAP5mg-325mg tablest (2 every 4 hours) I take the Oxycontin twice daily (1 pill)

Oxycontin is the brand name, it is a time released formulation of the narcotic analgesic Oxycodone.

The name brand for the other one you are taking would be Percocet, it contains Oxycodone coupled with Acetaminophen.
