Oxetol - Discontinuing Treatment
UpdatedI was taking Oxetol 300mg twice a day for 7 years. Then Oxetol 450mg twice a day for the last 3 years. Within this timeframe I've noticed a steady loss of memory & concentration, as well as restlessness & weakness. Should I taper off & stop treatment?

I think deciding on whether or not you're going to continue using this medication, really comes down to determining if the benefits of taking the medication outweigh the side effects you've been experiencing.
From my perspective it sounds like the side effects have become too bothersome. Depending on the length of time you've been taking Oxetol (Oxcarbazepine), it may be best to taper, since this drug can cause withdrawal symptoms.
I hope this helps!
