Oxycodone is a very potent and effective narcotic analgesic, but how they work for you depends on a number of factors.

If you're already tolerant to narcotics and require higher doses, then you may not get much pain relief from such a low dosage.

However, if you don't take narcotics on a regular basis, they may work very well for you.

I took a break from taking any of them for several years and now I get great relief from the 5mg Oxycodone again, when needed.
