Oxazepam 15mg @4 Hours Daily (4 To 6 A Day)

My Rheumatologist says that it is unnecessary to withdraw from Oxazepam 15mg. (see above Topic for dosage) and merely substitute with a lesser dosage of Difucan (10mg. @ 4-6 hours daily) as they are "the same drug"! I have been taking this Oxazepam dosage for 25 years+.
Now I am following his instructions and having major withdrawal miserable symptoms. Any suggestions?

There is no medication called Difucan, the closest is Diflucan and, if that's what you have, then I don't think you're taking the right medication, because it is an antifungal medication.

Learn more Diflucan details here.

I think you may want to double check everything, because the medication she intended to prescribe for you may have been Diazepam, which would be an equivalent medication.

What is on the label of the bottle you received from your pharmacy?
