Over Servicing Pharmacy

My husband is currently in care and his pharmacy bill was $130 for 19 days. Many pills were prescribed in the 100's when he's only on one per day. His drug sheet says some of drugs were ceased, yet he was still charged for the same amount. The staff says the account is not right but the pharmacist says it's all correct. Where do I go to check?

If he is not taking multiple medications each day, but it still being charged for multiple medications, then something is wrong.

Let me make sure I am understanding you, he stopped taking some medications, and from your post, he is only taking one each day, correct?

If so, it is possible that this medication is just more expensive than his others? Has the pharmacy provided you with a receipt so you can check exactly what he was charged for?

In the U.S. you'd never be charged for a medication you are not actually receiving. So, I have to say this really doesn't make any sense. Can you please post back with more details?

What is the medication he is prescribed?
