Over Bleeding And Having Period For A Months At A Time

Ive always had problems with my period and would get them once every few months growing up. Recently in the last maybe 2 years I would get it and have it for a month or two sometimes 3 and then not get it for three months. But now when i do get it. It comes down very heavy with colts and makes it impossible for me to do anything. I get stressed out because when this happens i can go to work or go out in fear it would over flow. Is there anything i can do to stop this?

Hi, I am going through the same thing right now. I have always had issues with my cycle too. I am heavy set and working on that though. I have been bleeding since April, I may have a day where its light to spotting but it never goes away. I have never had pain with it though until now. I've been to the doctor, I have been prescribed birth control pills and metformin, they worked for 4-5 months but when the prescription finished, the bleeding started again. So I went to the ER one day because I was feeling like I was going to die, and I felt so bad for my husband, but I thank God that he is an understanding and supportive man. The ER Dr seemed as if they could care less..my tests supposedly came back normal. I had to ask her to write a rx for the BC that I was taking before and she did but it didn't work this time. You should try the Dr if you can to rule out any fibroids or cysts. I don't have any of that going on, the first Dr said I have a hormonal imbalance and I'm borderline PCOS. So now I am starting my journey using herbs. I want to have kids and I want this bleeding to stop. Last night I started the Raspberry Leaf Tea (YOGI) for the pain ( now the tea did help with the pain so far) and to help with stopping the bleeding or slowing it, not sure which one will happen yet, I also bought Chaste Tree Berry Extract its supposed to help with fertility and hormonal imbalance. I'm praying that it works. I also came across Shepherd's Purse which I really think that will help but I couldn't find it in the store so I may have to order it online. One guy at Vitamin Depot said he can order it for me but I may order it myself because I want the purest form. I hope this helps you. I share your pain.
