Is it legal to be treated for chronic pain in Oregon if you live in Washngton State where it is so very difficult and the patient is treated without dignity? I have been prescribed schedule 2 meds for chronic pain for 9 years, am over 60 yrs old, and am on Social Security Disability for chronic pain and other conditions requiring monthly Dr visits. I want to move to Wash for the rest of my senior years but can't endure their regulations?

Hello, Kindly! How are you?

To be prescribed controlled substances for pain, all involved parties, such as you, your pharmacy and your doctor; will all need to be located within a certain radius of each other to make sure that the prescriptions can be validated and etc.

I'm not sure what regulations you're worried about in WA making it more difficult than other places, we have the same regulations here as every other state in the U.S.

Is there anything else I can help with?
