Has any one had taken Oravig for oral thrush? I had been prescribed several antibiotics over a 4 month period and developed oral thrush. I have been prescribed other prescriptions for the thrush with no success. I have now been on Oravig for 7 days with 7 more to go. I am wondering if anyone else has had success with it and if so, how long did it take before you saw results? Thanks!

Oravig contains the active ingredient Miconazole.
The number of days you are on it is the normal length of its use.
As with any medication, it helps some people and there are others that it does not work for. The only way to see if it works for you is to use it for the full 14 days and see if it clears up the Thrush.
You may experience some side effects, such as: nausea, diarrhea, headache and altered sense of taste.
