Orange Subutex 153 Half Moon (Top voted first)
UpdatedI use these and they work great. I was on the Roxanna Pharma ones that were circular in size and these orange ones work way better. Wish I had been on them from the start.
I just got those oblong orange ones today with Half moon - bottle says it's Subutex. Has anyone had these? Are they better than the white ones? I don't know, do I take them the same?
Can you please post a picture if you can. Thanks!
I just got my script today and got the Orange oval ones, I was getting the white circular ones prior to these, but I guess Walgreens used a diff manufacturer,I hope these work just as well or better, I get the ones with no naloxone in them
No the new orange surfboard shape subutex does not have any sort of blocker in it. It is just straight bubenorphine. They last a hell of a lot longer than any other strip or pill I've ever taken.
how did they work for you? I am on my second day and i cant tell
Pictures can be found..just Google! It's there.
No, they do not have a blocker, they are still subutex they are just another version made my a different pharmaceutical company. These are still just bupenorphine there is no naloxone (blocker) in them.
A manufacturer is only allowed to sell a certain amount of a drug. Subutex by Roxanne 54 411 has been discontinued by the DEA due to being maxed out as far as sales. The new orange sublingual with half moon is exactly the same in all aspects except imprint, color, & shape! So I highly doubt you will see those round 54 411 unless you find some pharmacies who had stock that hasn't sold out yet.
I get absolutely no initial energy kick from them. i depend on that unfortunately.. But they do last fairly long, however after switching back to the little white ones from my 1 month on the orange half moons my body feels better.
I think were all different. I do have energy from them. But i dont take for energy..I could care less about that...I take for withdraws and as a different pain medication. I'm not an abuser of them ..not saying anyome eles is.
It seems you both have been misinformed, the common misunderstanding about Subutex is that it has "No blocker" in it, and you can feel euphoria after taking it Or take it soon after taking opiates without fear of precipitated withdrawal. Furthermore - basically saying that Suboxone is the only one that mixes badly with opiates. Also boxing is, is buprenorphine plus naloxone. Google the term, it was added into Suboxone to stop the use of IV with the threat of potential Addicts wanting to use their medicine this way. It is the Buprenorphine that is common in both Subutex and Suboxone that is the deciding factor when it comes to precipitated withdrawal/also having to wait until your body can feel the opiates. And no, the new half moons do not have naloxone in it anyways as they are generic for subutex not suboxone.
For you who hates!
Don't knock people if they are confused or ask question's! This is what this site is all about for the most part. I say Sub's, and I mean subutex...some people say Sub's and mean suboxone. It's all good, no bad intentions here. When I started Sub's a year ago, I too was very confused on the what, who's and when and how's of it. Nobody gave me a hard time at all..So get off people's back and remember..NOBODY IS PERFECT!
I've been taking strips for over 5 years. Subutex just doesn't work for me. I'd take 1 suboxone over 3 Subutex any day. I think it may just be what one gets use to. My friend switched from strip to Subutex and hated it, now she thinks Subutex is the bomb.
I was on strips since they came out up until about 2 1/2 years ago. Switching to subutex "for me" was the best thing I could have done. I realized suboxone had me living in a haze almost compared to the clarity and clean feeling i had on subutex. But now and then again, i think about it and if its all just in my head or not? hmm who knows.. for Now, i just re-filled my script and went back to hi-tech (little whites) after 1 month on the activas (moons)
Shay...
I PROMISE YOU..no blockers. If you are having withdraws, its not from Subutex. Are you sure you don't have Suboxin? Subutex is straight up!
There is so much misinformation that it's scary. If you think that plain BUPRENORPHINE (tex) cannot send you into precipitated withdrawal..please...do a search first and fact check. Gain a little pharmacological insight or prepare to possibly go through some of the worst pain you'll ever know.
Brendinni..They are as good as the others. When you say you can't tell...Have you taken yet? Are you still having withdraws after you take your recomended dose?
I've been taking for sometime now and i have no issues. They work as good as the other brand.
I would start taking the smaller end of a 2mg break. After 15 days of doing that u need to drop to a big 1mg for 15 days. Then drop to a small 1mg for 15 days then take the smallest piece u can for 15 days. That's how I used to get myself down off of 2mg all the time. It's a 60 day process. Now, during the time just after when ur taking nothing try to push through with whatever non narcotics u can. However if I absolutely need to sleep or need to feel better , take a very small amount of Percocet. Like a 5 or 10mg and don't make a habit. In my experience I take Valium after my final jump off the subs and it helps me sleep. And if I ever had like bad stomach cramps I would take marijuana. If I was restless as all hell I would take a 10mg perc. But never 2 days in a row. Before u know it u can be on the other side of this - the most important thing is bringing urself down on the bupe from where ur at now. 7 months is not that long u can drop in 60 days like I told u and probably feel not too bad after jumping. Anyways keep us posted!!
