Orange Subutex 153 Half Moon (Page 9)
UpdatedI use these and they work great. I was on the Roxanna Pharma ones that were circular in size and these orange ones work way better. Wish I had been on them from the start.
I'm an active h user and wanted to start taking suboxone to get the monkey off my back...so I get the subutex 153 half moon and I've been reading reviews on whether they work or not and its a 50/50 chance ...if im trting to quit is it wise to start out with these pills or should I start with suboxone or the orange subutex. I don't want to wait the 24 + hours take it and nothing. Please somebody who has used these to start comibg off h please let me know asap..wanted to start on Monday..its Saturday.. Thanks

How long after your last opiate dose do you have to wait to take the orange 153 half moon pill?
Re: Cmrrrr123 (# 8)
They are not the same. Google I mean you'll see the ingredients are totally different especially and amounts. Not in the bupe amount but in the other amounts. They are not the same. The white ones are inferior
Re: Cmrrrr123 (# 8)
Not true about not dispensing the Roxanna brand (54 411). A lot of pharmacies still get them. It all depends on the price. They are going to buy what's cheaper for them, obviously. I do agree about them being/tasting the same. They are Subutex, not Suboxone. Good luck!
Re: David (# 4)
They don't taste like the other sublinguals I have tried. Are they supposed to be this bitter.
Re: Chris (# 54)
You are exactly right. It's funny that so many people have no idea.
Re: CHV1981 (# 164)
I know they are SubuTEX and NOT SuboXONE. I've tried different Subutex brands and FOR ME, the orange ones are better; the white round ones give me a headache (and I'm not talking white suboXONE, I'm talking subuTEX.
Re: Amber (# 152)
Absolutely true..I've done the same... MANY TIMES.
Re: Shay (# 27)
I am here to tell you 100% no doubt, yes there are opiate-eating ********s in this. It sent me into immediate withdrawals. I feel like s***. If you take opiates stay the f*** away from this.
Re: Mary (# 18)
That's not necessarily true at all. A friend of mine how goes to the same dr at the same clinic was on Suboxone for about a year and the whole time he has always taken pain meds (opiates) with his Suboxone. I actually know a lot of people who do. I've told them they're wasting them bc it's got an opiate blocker in it but it never stopped them. As sick as I was when I started my Suboxone program, after it started working, there was no way I was ever looking back by taking opiates still. 1 year clean in October!
Re: df (# 1)
Yes I actually have just today ..my friend gets them and yes they are for sure subutex and it's considered a D when you put in to find it on google its D153
Does the orange 8 mg Subutex taste like orange citrus? I can't stomach Suboxone because of the taste but I just got put on 8 mg Subutex, the orange ones, and was hoping they don't have a citrus taste.
Re: liqpluspatchanactiq (# 20)
Naloxone has a very short half-life compared to bupenorphine, 20 minutes compared to 36 hours. If your liver function is impaired enough, the subutex could build up in your system and make you really feel bad, but not the naloxone.
Re: Mary (# 24)
I wish I was on 2 or 3 mg daily. I am prescribed 8mg 2x a day & 30 mg morphine. I want to stop completely also. I just switched from 120mg morphine to Subutex and 30mg morphine. I do like the buprenorphine much better. I am 28 & had open heart surgery 4 months ago. Ughhhh. I just don't want to go through withdrawal.
Re: cat (# 5)
Dude yes all subutex/Suboxone had blocker that is was buprenorphone does as well as tricks the mu receptors
Re: Cmrrrr123 (# 8)
Not true at all. My pharmacy had never been out of them. It depends on the wholesaler. Whoever told you that is trying to get one over on you.
I'm trying to find out if you still have to wait tge,24 hours,to take subutex? I'm a huge baby and I'm hoping the, wait isn't that long and,do they work like suboxone?
Re: Cmrrrr123 (# 8)
That is an I’ll informed and completely incorrect comment. Only the active ingredient (buprenorphine 8mg) is the same. The fillers that get it into your blood are totally different or it would be patent infringement. These different fillers change factors such as length of time to tale effect, taste, acidity, length of time before minor withdrawal starts etc. this can lead to one manufacturer making a pill that lasts all day and then some vs another making one that doesn’t quite last all day causing the patient to take a little extra instead of a little less. Also acidity, pH, et al can cause headaches, sublingual blisters, stomach pain, loss of energy, bad taste, etc. I work in the medical field and didn’t believe it until I witnessed it first hand with SUN pharmaceuticals generic which blistered my tongue, gave me throbbing headaches, and killed my energy. That’s when I did the pharmacological research backed by Cambridge and UM citations to find there is actual proof to these complaints via double blind studies with large testing populations in 2 different nations and multiple states.
