Orange Subutex 153 Half Moon (Page 7) (Top voted first)
UpdatedI use these and they work great. I was on the Roxanna Pharma ones that were circular in size and these orange ones work way better. Wish I had been on them from the start.
I just switched from strips to subutex and i hated it at first too. Your body just has to adjust to the different medication. It took about 3 weeks for me to start feeling better from the switch.
I've never seen these orange subs before,... I've always taken the white round one and I would split it up into pieces..(4 pieces ) am I supposed to do the same thing with these new oval ones? Are they the same thing? Or is one better than the other.....? Anyone??? Thnx for listening have a great day! From Samantha123
How do you know that there is not going to be anymore of the 54 411
No. That's why subutex is only buprenorphine.. Suboxone has the blocker. The blocked is naloxine. Hence why they give subutex to pregnant women so they can take pain meds without getting sick and withdrawl.
I know that everyone is different and can react differently than others to the same medication but I have been on the large white round bup. 54/411 for over 2 years now and they worked really well for me. The pharmacy I normally get them from suddenly stated that they only have a partial amount of them for a few days worth but that the manufacturer is not giving them (nor any other pharmacy locally) a date as to when they will be able to deliver the rest because they do not have any to deliver. The pharmacist as well as myself called around to at least 10+ other pharmacies and he same response was given. I was due to get my script so I had no choice but to go to another pharmacy chain and they gave me the light orange oval pills with the half moon on one side. I don't understand why because they state they are the same but they do not work the same for me at all. Several hours after taking them I am very anxious and feel cravings that I have not felt for years. I took them not expecting to be any different than the white I normally take so I did not go into it with my mind already made up that they would not be as good. So now I am stuck with a partial and then the rest of my months supply will be in in a few days and I'll be stuck with that. I am worried that I will be dealing with this all month and I honestly just want to know if anyone else has had a similar experience with them and if there is any reason for it? :/
I'm so glad that I can relate to at least one other person experiencing that the orange actavis pills do not work the same. I do not live in FL but around here the Walmart pharmacies carry the large white ones. I will try my best to never get the orange again unless they for some reason discontinue the white because this is ridiculous
Re: Cmrrrr123 (# 8)
That is incorrect information as I still get the 54-411
Re: XtinaMarie (# 137)
Yeah after that one month of having to get the orange half moon pills I found out that the one pharmacy chain was just having "an issue" with their supplier with that certain medication and that the "low supply" they told me there was of my normal 54/411's was honestly just bulls***. I drove an hour away to a pharmacy that I was told had my normal brand and asked them if they had heard similar and the pharmacist looked shocked and said that that just wasn't true what they had told me.
Re: Andi (# 11)
I took them i am on methadone in wisconsin and went to ny for a funeral but since the notice was so short my program would not give me a take out on the morning of my flight which left at 3am and they do not open until 5am i flew into ny at 1pm and all programs are closed so i had to go almost 52hrs with no medicine. I take 100 ml of methadone daily. I am from ny and took that orange oval half moon 153 and kick all my methadine out of my system so i do not adivice taking them unless take suboxone only
They are both the same drug buprenorphine suboxone. Just has the blocker they both do the same thing its just personal perference
Personally I loved them took for a few weeks and then quit and haven't used for years ,these things saved my life
Weird question but can someone take a pic of 6 153 tecs in their hand for me please?
Re: confused (# 2)
No, it's a sublingual pill... Meaning under your tongue. How the f*** would they be time released?!
Re: cat (# 5)
Nope, they don't have a blocker. Most of the time people can get this medication instead of suboxone.
Re: Wendy (# 146)
Hey Wendy! I've been on subutex 2mg- 32mg for about 8 years now. I am a cancer survivor and an RN. I had most of my procedures at the hospital where I worked and that's where I went wrong. I went home after my hysterectomy and mastectomy on whatever I ASKED FOR. My doc at the time was fentanyl patches Dilaudid and oxycontin XR and the rapid release morphine. After treatment was done I was forced to steal from the pixsys (the machine where we get YOUR meds, the PATIENTS). I would get one dose of pills for the PATIENT and 2 for me. After I got caught doing that I had to resort to stealing vials of meds. I never ever thought I would. But I did. A good lifelong friend and lover confronted me with the footage and ratted me out and dumped me "for my own good" because "sick people cannot take care of sick people". I was placed on leave with no pay and investigated. I was placed in handcuffs and led to a mandatory drug program. This was the start of my chemical romance with subutex. I've been on every dose possible, I've weaned myself off only to fail miserably and be forced to take it again. So, fast forward to thanksgiving night, and I'm awaiting having a spot on my liver removed next week and I'm weaning off again. I'm down to 2mg from 16. My husband came home from Walgreens and said their back to the orange ones love. I have never ever had these. I came across your post. Do they really not block? I've had the same experience with the mylan brand as well. I just think it's not fair when your really trying, and temptation gets the best of you, because it's a placebo, or a sugar pill. A true addict always pushes the envelope.
Re: Cmrrrr123 (# 8)
I've been getting the white 54s since 2011 and I'm still getting them to this day.
Re: Suchbs (# 134)
Their only posted what they were told. Pharmacist are just that pharmacist. I'm sick of them playing "DOCTOR". They overstep their bounds all the time. Who know what their actually being told on the phone?
Re: Cmrrrr123 (# 8)
Ive been getting those for a long time... since this post came out.. the 54 411’s def got them for years after this ... im in VT not sure if that matters..
Is subutex only prescribed to pregnant women or anyone, because that's what I heard at my dr's office?
I can take subs and do a perc 30 later and feel it, idk why everyone keeps saying you can’t or you’ll go into withdraw, it’s not correct.
