Oramorph - For Severe Chronic Pain

The best thing for someone in pain, mentally or physically is to find a good doctor that will help you. I, myself am in severe pain daily with stomach and bowel problems and take 180ml oramorph per day as well as 30mg MST every 12 hours. The key is to find a doctor who understands your issues and that is willing to prescribe pain relief that is high enough to keep your pain under control. If I didn't take these ( and my other prescribed meds ) I would be bedbound. So hang in there and try to find a sympathetic doc/gp.....

I am very glad that you're doing so well and have found a doctor and medication to help you.

The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Unfortunately, it's not that easy for everyone. The DEA has set forth more directives in the U.S. that have made many doctors reluctant to treat chronic pain patients, or to prescribe enough medication to get their pain under control. It's just created overall chaos and misery.

Are there any comments or questions?
