Oralcon Contraceptives - No Periods
UpdatedHi there,
I've been using Oralcon for the past two years. I stopped using it at the beginning of December and I do not use any contraceptive pills since then as my husband and I are trying for our 2nd baby. Since I stopped with the Oralcon the beginning of December, I didn't got my period up to now. Is this a normal side-effect from Oralcon?

Hello, Peanut! How are you?
It can take a couple months for your body to rebalance your hormones on its own, when you stop a hormonal contraceptive, but usually only about 3 months. Other withdrawal effects, as listed by the FDA, may also include dizziness, irritability and PMS-like symptoms.
However, going beyond a few months is unusual and something you should have checked out to discover what's going on.
Is there anything else I can help with?
