Oralcon Contraceptive Pills - Is It Possible To Get Pregnant When I Am On This

I am using oralcon contraception, but since the beginning of April i haven't seen my period. Is it possible to get pregnant while on this?

All oral contraceptives carry a slight risk of still getting pregnant. I believe it could be a 1-10% estimated possibility depending on the brand; but in my opinion that merits reason enough to use another form of protection.

Irregular periods however, are a general side effect of these types of medications; so it's not always something to be overly concerned about. This may simply be due to a fluctuation in your hormones.

To make using oral contraceptives as safe and reliable as possible, you should understand how and when to take them and what side effects may be expected. A paper with information for the patient should've been given to you with your filled prescription, no? If not, I would ask your doctor for one, since your success with it largely depends on your knowledge of how to use it properly and what you might come to expect if something goes wrong.

David I do not agree that the pill makes your period irregular. I am using the pill to regulate my period after breastfeeding.

With regards to getting pregnant. Just advise that you HAVE to take the pill the same time every day and check the compatibility of the meds with the pill.

Still I did all of the above and still got pregnant on Oralcon.

hi! i did not get my periods for 4months, the gynae has put me on oralcon, im takn it for a month now and i still havnt gotn my periods, is it safe for me to have intercourse or should i still use protection? or is there any reason do you know off as to why i still have not got my periods?

Hello. I started taking oralcon in Nov 2017 for the first time and my periods started to be abnormal... At the end of Nov they stopped completely so I took the red oralcon pills but nothing happened. Then I decided to stop on the 3rd of Dec. My boy and I had intercourse after I stopped and it's now the 9th of January 2018 yet I still haven't seen my periods. I tested negative on my p.t. Is it still possible that I am pregnant? Please help me.

I'm on the injection but I was still bleeding and that was the first time it was happening to me, so I went to the pharmacy and they sold me the Oralcon-F.... And now I'm worried if I'm pregnant cause I'm feeling weak n have to be in bed every minute.

Hey there. I was using an inj. as a method of contraception for 2 and a half years. Then I stopped this year in august. There is a huge possibility of you being pregnant... Hence you are always advised to take them the same time everyday. Oralcon lasts for only 24 hours exactly in your body
however, I advise you to go see a doctor just in case you are pregnant
