Hello all,
Both trigestrel and oralcon are hormone based oral contraceptions that are often interchanged when one is causing problems or is not in stock. Both of them provide protection against pregnancy and work towards regulating menstrual cycles. The largest difference between the two is that trigestrel uses a combination of hormones and acts in phases whereas the oralcon only contains one hormone and is single phase meaning that it provides the same dosage of hormone throughout the pack.
If you feel that one of these does not agree with your body please let your doctor know immediately. Otherwise it's safe to use either of these options and ultimately it comes down to your personal preference as to which one is best.
Hope this helps. Have a wonderful day.
Is there a difference between trigesterol pills and oralcon pills.
Hi there,I'm on my first pack of trigestrel contraceptive pills. I'd like to know where do I start them and when. Is it true that they are fertile? Are they the same as triphasil tabs? I need some help plz
Hi
I have been using Trigestrel for a while now but was given Oralcon by the doctor because they had no Trigestrel in stock.I am skeptical about the change.am I still safe using Oralcon? Worried about side effects and hormonal changes due to change.
