Opox 200 Side Effects

i just came to know i am 3-4 weeks pregnant and i had taken opox 200 tablet twice a day for 5 days 2weeks ago without knowing i am pregnant as i had cold and soar throat .......will it affect my pregnancy or baby in any form?

please cofirm with maternity doctors since you have took in pregnancy..don't take chance in pregnancy since lot of months are remaining

From what I've found, Opox contains the active ingredient Loperamide, which is used to help prevent diarrhea.

Animal studies have shown no evidence of fetal harm, but no controlled studied have been done in humans.

Thus, it is best that you inform your doctor that you took it, just to be on the safe side.
