Hello I'm currently seeking a pain clinic/dr in michigan that can help my get methadone for pain/opiate dependency! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

If you've been treated at an addiction clinic, then a regular doctor will be unable to prescribe it for you, it is illegal for them to do so.
The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
If you've only been taking it for pain management, then a doctor could prescribe it for you, but most are reluctant to do so, due to its severely habit forming potential.
Can anyone recommend a good doctor in that area that night be able to help?
