Opana Not Working
UpdatedI take Opana 20mg three times a day for chronic pain, along with Roxicodone 15mg 4X's a day. I was wondering if anyone out there had noticed that the Opana's don't do anything as much as the Roxis/Oxycodone do? I also just use them as perscribed and am only in my 20's and have had over 35 surgeries. I go see my pain management physician in a couple of days and want to know if anyone out there has tried something similar to what I'm not and what they might have been switched to to get better relief of pain. Thank you for any advice.

Everyone is different, so it could be that the Oxycodone works better for you, than the Opana. Given how many surgeries you've had, you may also have a very high tolerance to pain medications.
The FDA warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth.
The best thing to do is to speak to your doctor and tell them what has and hasn't been helping you.
What other medications have you tried, so far?
