Opana And Sun

I'm having a problem of turning bright red when I am out in the sun for just a short while.(NOT sunburn) Does Opana cause a reaction to the sun?

It has been known to cause the redness, as a side effect according to the FDA reports, and being out in the sun likely exacerbates it, which can happen with many medications.

This medication also carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Is there anything else I can help with?
