Opana Abuse

I am trying to understand opana abuse as I have a friend who is addicted. Can anyone out there tell me what an opana abuser feels? I mean when you snort this stuff, what is the effect? Can a person still function or is it some kind of mind-tripping, lay-on-the-bed spaced out kind of thing? Just trying to understand.

Opana contains the active ingredient Oxymorphone, which is an opiate narcotic, as a side effect it can cause euphoria, the high spaced out feeling you described and even elevated energy levels.

The people that experience those types of effects are the ones that most often end up abusing a drug and becoming addicted to it.

Since they are just side effects, they wear off after awhile as their body becomes used to the medication and they have to keep taking more and more to get those effects back.

Snorting tends to cause them to give a much faster 'rush' or high feeling than swallowing them would.
